I'm definitely up for an online game. I've only got 1 exam in January and it's at the end so got plenty of time!
Finished 7th in my 2nd season, but improving could be tough- mostly because spurs keep going for the same players as me, who inevitably choose them. So far they've beaten me to the signings of tom cleverley, James McCarthy, Adam johnson, miroslav stoch & Chris smalling. Why do they even need so many midfielders?!
I'm up for an online game definitely. There's a feature on the latest FM where you can export your team for a one-off versus game. We could all pick a team to manage for a season and play each other after one year to see who's improved their team the most?
Most goals in this game are exactly the same. Players runs down the wing, defenders do nothing, gets a free cross into the box and the attacker is wide open in the box and scores a tap in.
I've seen a lot of that so far, almost always to the far post as well. Full-backs are a liability for me on this game, I've fiddled with the tactics endlessly but can't get them to not press/track players 30 yards out of position and leave huge gaps. Whenever they do close down a suitable wide man on the ball they just jockey side to side and never make a tackle, and when they're covering men in the box they just leave their winger in acres and come inside to mark no-one, and then the above happens. I started unemployed and got the Wimbledon job, don't know if I'll try and take them on a long climb to the top or just get them far enough for me to hop to a better team.
Won 25 out of 30 games, won the South African Premier League by 15 points. Bring on the African Champions League.
I have quite a lot of those sorts of goals... not nearly as many as you by the sound of it, but still a pretty disproportionate amount.
I doubt it, i've seen a lot of people on a few different forums seeing the same problem. I've tried everything that I can think of with my full backs individual tactics, ive even tried making my wingers track back more but it doesnt matter. the full backs are generally incapable of doing anything to stop crosses.
Ah, well maybe they'll sort it in the next patch then. I probably won't have the game before then anyway, so I'm fine.
I hope so as well, it's frustrating seeing the same types of goals time and again and having no way to stop/limit them. I might stop watching the games and just start using commentary instead as it's annoying watching it happen.
