Played a few games on the PS3 version and I've got to say, I'm glad I haven't pre-ordered it.

Really doesn't feel like much, if any, work has been done on the game engine; looks like they've put the majority of their focus on the next generation version.

That being said, purely on an aesthetic level, I am enjoying the improvements the to the UI. Much cleaner and slicker interface, reminds me on Windows 8 Metro.

 

Yeah the next gen is far better.

 

What's so good about next gen?

 

I'd imagine it's a similar jump in quality to the jump between ps2 and ps3.

Demo is alright; dribbling is harder, shooting is better and pace seems to be far less important.

 

Have to say having played the demo now on 360, it's seems worse than previous...

Having also played the CM Beta I would say that isn't as appealing anymore...

 

Don't think it's worse it's just not many changes.(this gen anyways)

 

don't think i'll be buying it, gta should be more than enough to keep me occupied

 

It's pretty shoddy.

I could come up with a better career mode...

They focus on money making parts to the game such as Ultimate Team...

 

Played a few games, dont like it at all.

Appauling refereing again, feels clunky and harder to do what you want to do in the sense of passing and dribbling.

I said the same about 13 but ill get used to it. Wont be getting it for months thought, gta will keep me going for ages

 

I think in fairness (I hate the demo too, awful to play), the demo is actually quite an early build of the game. The first touch system in the '13 demo was horrendous and was toned down considerably in the full game/early release.

All hope is not lost yet for FIFA.

 

I like it. They have made it so you can't just have a team full of speed.

 

Same, from what I've experienced the stronger players are far more effective than the small quick players.

 

Players with speed and strength (bale) are very useful! this reflects well with real world football! wanyama will be boss on fifa14!

 

Yeah means Neymar can't just ghost past all your team as he will get barged of the ball easier.

 

I'm pretty happy with the Demo, I stopped Fifa 13 due to the fact that everyone I played against used to play every pass as a chipped through ball. It doesn't look like that's effective anymore.

 

i think its better feels more realistic and its note all about pace! passing system feels tweeked too

 

Yeah that was the most over used pass on the game.
