ok, I also forgot Joe Allen, quality player. BTW: Other R in Houston, If we sign Heskey I will kill myself. He's past his best days and now he just cant put the ball in the back of the net. I would prefer keep Agyemang.
I would definitely echo those who mentioned Demba Ba should West Ham go down. He would suit our current system very well in the Helguson role, but with more pace and better goal threat. Id also like to see a pure pacey striker be brought in too that could play on the shoulder of the last defender to give us a different option. Someone like Danny Wellbeck (possibly loan) may be a good shout. Plus through our hat in the ring should Daniel Sturridge become availbale I think we definitely need another defensive mid and maybe Reo Coker could do a job, or Mark Noble from West Ham as an eventual replacement for Derry. We probably need a to strengthen both wing back positions, and if available I think Naugton would be a must buy and possibly someone with more prem experience like Konchesky or luke young As for centre backs, I have no idea who we could bring in but i thinks Gorkks and Connolly should be given a chance but they need to both concentrate more
please not Heskey I think the cost of WD40 for his roller skates would stretch even our owners!!! Would love Walker back Boothroyd I think would be worth a punt and others Prem teams(doesnt that sound good) might be put off by not being proven at that level (same issue for us i spose though!) Also need to think about getting players form teams that go down carefully - need to know if in a fight near the end the mental strength is there and might be difficult for someone that went down the year before - PArker would be exempt from this but think no hope of getting him!
Hey, he scored at the weekend! Completely agree though, I wouldn't really wagon except as a squad player....
What would everyone think if we got Blackstock back. Forest have a load of strikers and if they go up they will buy some more
I'm with you on Heskey, we can form a suicide pact, but Blackstock, I wouldn't kill myself but i'm defo not keen, he wasn't really good enough for the championship IMO.
This is brilliant, whoever started this thread is a comedy genius. You were the best side in the Championship of that there is no doubt but some of you are over estimating your pulling power in terms of attracting players. You are a small club, and along with Blackpool you will be by far the smallest club in the Premiership and your attendances are laugable. Now lets look at some of these targets. Chamakh - just dont be so silly, 1 season in the Prem, scored 11 goals, playing in the Champions league and is going to swap it for a relegation battle in a stadium which has an attendance a quarter of the emirates Crouch - Once again playing in the Champions league, why swap it for a relegation battle scored 11 goals this season once again no chance. Ramsey - Not even going to dignify this suggestion with a response. Parker - hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha And to top it off your going to lose Taraabt.
BAAAAAAH BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH, sour grapes i think... go back to your own board...PLAYOFF FOR YOU!!!! AND WHO THE HELL WOULD WANT TO PLAY IN WALES RATHER THAN LONDON, ENGLAND??!!!?>? SHEEPSHAGGERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ARE CHAMPIONS!! AND WE'LL NEVER PLAY YOU AGAIN!! AGAIN!! WE'LL NEVER PLAY YOU AGAIN.....
You stupid ****, you live in a **** ghetto. Its an absolute cert you will get relegated next year. As Ian Holloway found this year and Mick McCarthy the year before, nobody wants to sign for their newly promoted teams, you will lose Taraabt as well.
Yeah we do mention some ridiculous signings! http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=44662
Couldnt blame him really, would be nice for him to manage a team which actually get some supporters in its ground.
who the hell are you????! go away! it would be a badiff city fan to come on here.... you really needed those 2 points we took away from you at cardiff didnt you? ohwell always next year...erm nah
