The players tunnel was by the away end yesterday, and Fraeye copped a lot of abuse at half time (I plead guilty). Good. The first time the dyed haired clown has experienced real football fans feedback.
We're all agreed that CAST aren't the answer but in order to have protests on the scale we want/need someone will need to organise and rally the troops. They will also need to bring together and motivate a disparate groups of disaffected fans. Not turning up isn't enough we need to turn up week in, week out and be heard and seen and we need to be led, organised, given a voice. CAST isn't it, the leaders of the Valley Party who are no longer on the guest list aren't it, who is?

I will never stand side by side with the trust. I had an exchange with pemberton asking if he'd support the previous protests - and his answer was no, he was seeking dialogue.
They are a supporters (key word) trust. If they weren't protesting - they should have come along to discuss why we stood there. Ironically - they now want to join the party.
If I see him or Prague there - I will call them out. We all know as soon as KM opens that door, they will both run towards it like two excited German sheppards.

I get all of that and I agree. But we are rudderless at the moment. We need some leadership from somewhere.
All the while the existing supporters trust exists in its current mentality/format - having now established a name and an on the face of it respectable membership - potential leadership of protests will be jeopardised and undermined.
I have no idea what can be done at our level. I agree wholeheartedly with the protests and look forward to seeing them better realised; however in practical terms the best they can achieve is awareness to merely stimulate change - both in terms of raising media interest and shouting to the top at RD. My own petition attempt achieved nothing, in spite of a clear aim (to force an FA and Football League review of the Fit and Proper Person Test criteria) and 1000 signatures; I sent the list of signatories and a covering letter/mini essay on to both Clive Efford MP and Matthew Pennycook MP and received no response whatsoever. I wouldn't say my enthusiasm has been dampened but as above I believe the aims my have to be rationalised; if needed I will do anything I can to assist further where time allows (I believe I'm quite a useful 'keyboard warrior' at the very least!)
In reality though the only thing that can change anything is the dawning realisation for RD that relegation will cost him in terms of income and in terms of the value of his assets. Once he realises this he'll surely have no choice but to hit the panic button and invest in a coach and new players.
You could argue that as an absent owner his Chief Exec should be doing the necessary due diligence and trying to flag this up to him; I should imagine instead she is phoning through different PR and media companies to continue putting her face out there.
Today the
"Stand up if you want them out" chant that consisted of 3/4 of the fans in the ground I think that is a visable message, the protests outside the West Stand should continue but they are nowhere near as powerful as seeing thousands of people stand up calling for the board to resign while the game is still going. Opposition fans can see the fans being unhappy. It may damage the morale of the players but most the players on the pitch will be gone in the summer.
Today seeing all us fans stand up and shout for the board to leave was the best message I have seen this season, and will do it every single home game I am at this season and next season and the season after that, until the board sell up.

My next game will be the Cardiff in February. Not what I call a boycott, just an adjustment in priorities, anyway I'll be out the country from Jan 14th for 4 weeks. I hope the protests really take off without me, the thought of that smirking giggling visage still being here when I come back- oh dear. Carol is taking the flak now but I won't feel any satisfaction when he is replaced by another stooge. 'Mare is following Roland's cowardly example of leading from the rear.

The club should never have appointed him. Meire should resign. You can't build a house on quicksand. We need a new experienced manager with some tactical idea. A new CEo who understands the game, and a manager of football. While we continue to attempt to run the club with these imbéciles in charge, nothing will change.
I'm back in the UK for new year, but unlike previous occasions, I won't be going to the Valley. My mother has health issues, and while I could easily juggle the dates around, I'm not helping the club with my cash. Besides, I hear KF has stated post match that the fans were too pesimistic. Could he explain just what he sees as things for the fans to be happy about? Nobody wanted him, and KM and RD are a liability to our club. If he wants my sympathy, he should grow a pair and tell RD to stop tw**ing around and buy decent players, and not sell Lookman.

There has to be a massive protest next Saturday. If Roland is allowed to carry on his experiment next season in L1 we'll be the chopping blocks again. It's getting urgent now.
I think the protest has to be a complete absence with the exception of £5 a head supporters who will come to a ground with no atmosphere. Yes Roly will get his fivers but they wont come back. If they have no one coming through the gates and reduced sales then they may notice.
If he has no supporters attending then he may get the message. All the time we turn up and go into the ground we are creating a dichotomy for ourselves. That is paying money to a man we want to leave and thereby encouraging him to stay because we pay money. I have come to the conclusion that total boycott is the only way.
But that would be customer choice and Katriens point would be proved...... Just saying.

SVC-If you've got a ST already you're not paying them a penny. I just don't fancy the journey to The Valley just for the protest. I've stopped buying any merchandise a while ago, a personal decision, which is what any boycott is, like not renewing.
Watching the protests on periscope - chants like 'hey hey roland oh ah' are way too jovial. I know Royston has been calling for it for a while but hostility is what is needed.
