Flaws with your argument:
* Nelsen was on a six-month contract
* Saha was on a six-month contract
* Nelsen was our fifth-choice centre back, behind Kaboul, King, Gallas and Dawson
* Saha was behind Adebayor, van Der Vaart and Defoe in the pecking order
* Nelsen was only signed because of Dawson's long-term injury and Caulker being on loan to Swansea
* Saha was signed as a short-term stop-gap after Pavlyuchenko left
* Corluka spent half the season out on loan to Bayer Leverkusen

You almost, almost, had a point by saying it isn't based on the amount of games they play - it's based on whether they;re seen as an integral member of the first team squad, which you cannot say for Saha and Nelsen. Why? Because their contracts were only until the end of the season, and weren't renewed.

Ryan Nelsen signed for QPR three weeks ago...

So the fact Nelsen is listed as a player on QPR's website means nothing?

your making excuses about whay your players where signed and trying to say they are not part of the first team when your own website has shown that they are <doh> Its like talking to a brick wall somtimes on hear. Let me explain it to you slowley so that you understand, those players I mentioned where part of your first team, they arent anymore but your website still shows Saha and Nelson as part of your first team irrespective of if their not anymore they were part of your first team.

2-0 to me, your falling behind spud

No one has disputed that they were in the first team squad, just that they were not first XI players (like many of the players who have left you in recent years were).

I said first team meaning squad if I meant your actual starting 11 players then I would have said your regular 11 or your starting line-up, humanbeingincroydon disputed what I said about first team using Wikipedia which hilariously backfired on him <ok>

Yet you claimed that a player who made 40 appearances for you in a season was "struggling to get into the first team", not first XI or starting line-up.
There's no consistency in your argument.

Sorry, but your logic is truly awful. You are STILL claiming that selling bit-part players and releasing players (by choice, not selling for money) is an argument for us being a selling club.

Flamini, Nasri, Fabregas, RVP - Arsenal attempted to get them all to stay.
Kranjcar, Saha, Nelson, Corluka - Spurs willingly let them go.

You are comparing apples to yoghurt.

The comparisons between the Arsenal players metioned are more akin to Berba, Carrick, Sol etc. But they happened quite a long time ago in football terms. Show me an example of Spurs being a selling club from the last 4 years. Go on, do it.

So carrick and Berbatov were bit part players then? Robbie Keane is another player that you wanted to keep but then left to Liverpool. Why are you using a 4 year time scale? when history has shown that you have been a selling club I bet you used that timeframe so I wouldn’t include players like Sheringham, and Waddle or even Gascoigne for that matter, a clever trick that ultimately failed, nice try though.

Now you are just being petty<laugh> alright to correct myself Flamini was struggling to get into regular 11

I'm not making excuses, I am telling you that Nelsen, Saha and Corluka weren't members of our first team, and giving you simple yet entirely logical reason why I not only suggest this, but anyone with one iota of intellect would agree with.

Tell me, if Arsenal signed a player on a six-month contract and they didn't play half a dozen games, how does that make them a first team player?
Also, tell me how a team not updating their website - mainly due to the new kit not being revealed yet more than anything else - makes a player who has signed for another club a member of their first team?

What other "facts" are you going to provide us from our website? Barnsley goalkeeper Ben Alnwick is still a Spurs player? Steven Caulker doesn't have a face, as his photo isn't on there? Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jan Vertonghen aren't Spurs players as they don't have squad profiles? Seriously, your argument is moronic.

When the QPR website says that Ryan Nelsen signed for QPR on 18th June, and the newspapers reported this - and I provided links stating this as a fact - how does that make Nelsen a Spurs player?

And you need to get this into your head (which shouldn't be too hard, given the amount of space clearly inside it...), this was Spurs' first team last season:
Friedel; Walker, King, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Parker, Modric, bale; Van Der Vaart, Adebayor

Not Nelsen, not Saha, not Corluka, not Kranjcar - as they were squad players, not members of the first team.

Fabregas, Nasri, Van Persie, Clichy, Toure - those are first team players. And those have all left, or will soon leave, Arsenal. The difference is so huge, so obvious, that to try and argue otherwise makes you look like somebody who has missed the point completely but will argue the fact until their posts look remarkably like they're banging their head against the keyboard because it almost looks like words are coming out.

Despite playing 40 games.
Don't be silly.

How the hell is Corluka supposed to have been a first team player when he was out on loan, by the way?

one season where he played 40 games and that was because Gilberto was injured for a large part of that season, before that he couldnt get into our starting 11. Corluka may have been out on loan last season but the previous season he was firmly in your first team, again your cluctching at straws <laugh>

He was on loan because he'd lost his first team place to Kyle Walker.

You're not clutching at straws, you're flailing in the vain hope of one coming into reach.

<laugh> you claim my argument is moronic when I said part of your first team which they were (you do realise that each season every team has to declare who has to be part of the first team squad?!?) I never said they were part of your starting 11 you just made a stupid assumption that has come back to bite you making your comments look very stupid indeed. Even your own spurs website proved my argument was correct perhaps you should scuttle away back to Wikipedia as your losing miserably here <whistle>

You managed to argue against yourself in the space of two sentences.
One player played a lot in one season, but isn't part of the first team, despite the player who you claim was ahead of him leaving at the end of that season.
The one that lost his place and then got loaned out halfway through the season and sold at the end of it was still part of the first team, though. <doh>

oh dear so explain the reason for the other players I have mentioned then? go on this should be easy for you

That was a typo I meant previous seasons which is not contradictory at all, Flamini had one season were he was in our startting 11 on a regualr basis while Corluka was consistently in your starting 11 in previous seasons aside from last season obviously.

Then he lost his place to Walker and was sold because we didn't want to keep him anymore.
That's not what you said, either:
"Ryan Nelsen, France Louis Saha, Niko Kranjčar, Vedran Ćorluka These were all part of your First team last year".

<doh> I actually cant believe the idiocy of this comment, your club has had every chance to make the Champs league and have failed every single time aside from one case, you make it sound like the champions league is given to us when the facts are that we earned that place. The facts are that we have spend far less than you in the last few seasons and still maintained our dominance over you in terms of league positions. And the whole selling club insult is a bit rich especially when you have lost your best players over the years to bigger clubs (Sol, Carrick, Berba) are three recent examples

You're the idiot, don't talk like a tart. Its not the fact we weren't in the CL, its the fact you were, WITH its revenue each year. You've paid multiple players 100k+ a week for years, you've posted after tax profits in excess of ours year on year. Have a look where you are in the Forbes richest club list.

Arsenal have had greater resources.

Do you want to **** off now you daft ****s. <doh>
