ohh i hope some Arsenal fans who dont think Fabregas shafted them gets all defensive PNP. plus i think whoever signs Hazard will be thinking why there was such a hype..hes good but not for the kinda money his speculation will demand.
As I posted elsewhere, in the case of Hazard (and Gotze) both come with a hefty asking price in excess of £25m, which causes a couple of problems - most notably, if they don't deliver the goods we'll be eating a huge decrease in their resale value. Take, for example, Rasmus Elm. If the deal is sorted, he'll be arriving for £6.5m (give or take a couple of hundred grand either way based on the exchange rate), so at the very least we can recoup the initial outlay, and in all probability we can make a tidy profit on him. That's the great hangover of the Comolli era, we took a bath on the transfer value of the majority of players he brought in - Bentley will probably lose us £10m when we move him on, we lost £3m on Boateng, somehow lost £8m on Kaboul (admittedly, the majority of that is based on re-signing him), we lost about £6m on Pavlyuchenko, and somewhere between £5-7m on Hutton. Bloody terrifying if you think that we've lost the value of a Cesc Fabregas in bad player purchases.

Hazard won't go for £28m and if we do get him (Unlikely) He will cost at least £35m. Same with Llorente. I doubt he will leave Bilbao but if he does it will be in the high thirty million mark. Maybe Gylfi Sigurðsson would be a cheaper, less riskier option?
