Yeah, that's a decent saving. ( I think it's that per week, not month)

If we can get Rashford out as well, that's circa £700k a week saved!!
 
Rumour mill now in full swing that Fernandes will also likely leave.

Good job they said he was on the transfer list, that's the way to swing someone's thoughts!

We've had four years out of him, so you could understand if he reflected on his future for the next few years, especially as we won't be going anywhere for a few more seasons. With the likes of Bayern and Inter showing some interest you could hardly blame him - and it would solve the problem of clearing the way for a more suitable captain (who, I don't have a clue).
 
Much as he frustrates me, Fernandes will be a big loss.

You only have to look at just how **** we've been in terms of creating chances in the last couple of games without him.

The way we've handled it (if true) is as bad as when Herrera left.

Hopefully it's just silly season bullshit. Just the other week he made a statement saying he wanted to stay for as long as the club wanted him to, just before the issue about the entire squad being for sale raised its ugly head.......
 
Martial has announced he's leaving when his contract expires this summer and Rashford has said he's quitting social media for a few weeks to get his head back right.
Things could be looking up for us.

Mate Martial had no choice in the matter. He was told months ago his contract wouldn't be extended. Good riddance to the miserable ****.

We've had these dregs hanging on ever since Fergie left. Remember Rojo? Another one. Probably more I can't remember. Absolute wasters having their contracts extended again and again bcos we didn't have the balls (like Fergie did) to make the bold decision to let them go.

Once Martial and a couple of others fck off we really need to draw a line under it and say never again.

I think part of the problem is the constant changing of manager.
We all know that Martial is and can be a very talented player, this (imo) means that every new manager that comes in will think he can get a tune out of him only to find out too late that he's a lazy ****.

I actually support the idea of selling everyone that earns more than £200k/week! Every time these fkers get higher contracts, their performances go the other way.

I blame Rooney.

For wanting £140k a week after 6 years, a few PL winners medals, a CL winners medal, and a LC winners medal.

Reasonable request from Bruno I would have thought, especially given the length of time he's been with us and his critical role on the pitch. Give him a £100k rise and nick the same amount from Rashford.
