He accepted the new contract.

Any contract should have at the very least a basic condition that is 'do your job'.

Walking about not trying and flying off to nightclubs in the week I'd say contravenes his contract, so if he wants to leave that contract could be cancelled.

United would get no fee, but at least they aren't paying him £350k a week to sulk in public.

Even if, as rumoured, he has an issue with ETH (presumably over his handling of his bro, Sancho) Rashford surely still feels some obligation to his team mates and the fans who pay his wages. Given his poor form, I wouldn't bat an eyelid if he was sold in the summer, in fact I think it would be good for ETH and the club, we can't have a player dictating terms to the club.

Why are you writing these stuff? How do we know how Rashford feels about other people like Sancho, and others have even mentioned Greenwood. Surely Rashford understands the totality of running a club and can’t hold a manager accountable for how his fkin friends are treated.

I find these non-verifiable speculations pointless. Let’s stick to the points that we know versus speculations that just lend to muddle the water.

It certainly won’t be the first time that a player has socialized or be tw*t out of acceptable norms. It’s the manager’s responsibility to hand down the punishment regardless of who the player is. ETH is handling that, we move on!

Rashford has become yet another entitled prick. He spent his entire youth tryi9ng hard to become what he is today, and now his life is empty. He has more money than he knows what to do with, more cars than he can drive/crash, he has split with his long-term girl, and those family members that are advising him seem no better than a shower of ****. The boy has no purpose in life, he can't even be arsed to play football, the thing that has brought him everything he and his family have in life - that shows the level of how little he cares - and that pisses me off. To see such a talent waste itself, like Georgie Best, like Gazza, like so many players down the years who have been driven to demons that they can't control. Shame SAF isn't there to save the lad really.

I think you’re overblowing it a bit too much and viscerally.

Good thing Rashford is not your son, you would have disowned him because he went out to a club. lol

I also don’t know if I would shower so much praise of talent on Rashford to the point of suggesting that it’s wasted. Yes, a good player on his day. But I certainly wouldn’t compare him to Best or any other greats. It wouldn’t even be a material loss to the club if he is replaced with immediate effect.

Ferdinand, speaking on his FIVE podcast, criticized United’s wingers, including Antony and Garnacho, for not providing enough support to Hojlund during matches. The Danish striker reportedly received the fewest passes among all Premier League strikers, indicating a concerning lack of involvement in the team’s build-up play

Ferdinand is spot on here! It is exactly what I’ve been saying that simply adding more No 9s to the will make no difference given the midfield creates fk all for the target man. This again demonstrates that issue is a system problem.

And it's exactly the point I was making about Rashford, but he gets away with it because he shoots loads or something.

It's fairly well documented that Rashford has supported his mate Sancho by the way, this isn't guess work.

There's no doubt he's got **** going on, this resentment is just a part of it. His behaviour and sporadic effort generally is completely unacceptable given football is his job, and being pissed off about external matters shouldn't get in the way of him doing that job, and it very clearly is.

If there are bigger issues affecting his work, he needs to step away and deal with that.

That curtesy was offered to Sancho last season, which he threw back in ten Hag and the clubs face.

If it's all 3 doing it (shooting that is) maybe it's a Ten Hag thing.

Well maybe except Antony doesn't shoot much.

Garnacho is definitely a greedy impulsive ****er. Seems deliberate with Rashford though.

As I've already said, I find it very, very hard to believe that Ten Hag is telling Rashford to take wild pot shots as often as he can. I'd guess his actual job as a wide forward is to supply his striker. Which he doesn’t do.

Antony isn't the same, he's on his wrong foot and, unless he's switched, he's just never getting to the byline and crossing. That's a ten Hag issue, definitely.

The real shame this season are those games that we lost at home to teams that are at the lower end of the table. We should have never lost this games. Crystal Palace, Brighton and Bournemouth. No disrespect to those teams but that should have had 9 points in the bag with at least a +5 goal difference. Instead, we got -6 GD from those games. That’s +11 if we had those wins at home.

Then losing to Forest away and that Arsenal game could have been a draw. We showed too much respect to Newcastle too. You start thinking about those games in totality of challenging and it’s easy to see what could have happened this season. I say this not with hindsight, but the full faith in the squad which should have been enough to get those points. If those games were to be played under the current semi stability after the dysfunction we’ve had, we would be within touching distance of the top with decent GD.

Maybe ABU paid the players to throw those games! LOL

Martinez was amazing over the weekend. Poor luck!

We will miss his presence but he’s only really played 8 games this season with him in the team winning only 4 of those and losing the other 3 and two clean sheets, one from the weekend.

The point is that we’ve been able to get 8 other wins without him. So I expect the team to manage in his absence especially with Casemiro back in the side along with Mainoo. This should provide better protection for the defenders and create more opportunities for scoring.

Interesting reading all this paper talk regarding JR saying we need a new stadium. Not what I was expecting to hear for a while, but he seems determined to drive it through, and on the current sight, so a bit like Spurs.

On the existing site - the people that designed the new Spurs stadium have been consultants, and at White Hart Lane they managed a 60% completion of the new stadium before they had to close WHL for completion. Spurs, of course, had the luxury of playing their affected home games at Wembley - we don't have that luxury so I'd be interested to see how they get round that one.
