    Assume you mean Garner?

Playing very well at Forest as it goes.

Not the same level as premier league admittedly, but he should come back and the likes of Matic and Mata be allowed to leave.

This is an example of what we were talking about on bbc - “The ‘new Havertz’ taking Germany by storm”.
We haven’t even seen much from the ‘old Havertz’ but they are already parading the new one.

RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku will cost Manchester United "at least 75m euros" if they press ahead with efforts to sign the 24-year-old French midfielder. (Bild - in German)

I watched some videos of Nkunku yesterday. He looks very good. If it is true that we are in for him, we should take him on for that fee and wrap it up quickly given how short we are going to be up front.

    couple of things
no way were either Karius or Matip billed as class .
If Minamino was a disaster , which is an overstatement imo ,at least it was cheap one since he only cost £7m
Oh and Minamino has never played in the Bundeslegia <laugh>

and i probably should have carried on reading before posting .

Buying a player who fits the teams needs is far more important than buying a "rated" player .

I kind of assumed he meant Naby Kaita when this was posted.

Could be wrong, but he definitely fits the bill of being very expensive and very ****e.

Guess what, we need a striker!

The silence on here speaks volumes.

I'd assume top four now a dead duck. If we can't score v Watford at home we've got **** all chance v City and Liverpool away.

I was thinking about this after the game. Whilst it's understandable we don't want Greenwood anywhere near the club, he's no doubt a loss for us.

It seems Amad is getting fck all time at Rangers. Would it be worth recalling him?

I thought we played well yesterday. Can't fault the performance and the tactics, only the finishing... and this is now a trend in terms of the lack of finishing.

And yep Top 4 is a dead duck I'm afraid.

Truth is Cavani and Ronaldo should be our goal source, and neither are doing a thing about it at the minute.

Seems daft even saying it. The finest goal scorer ever, and one of the very best centre forwards of recent times. A neither can hit the proverbial cows arse.

I can't explain it. Only thing is there's no one up front chipping in consistently either. Whether that be Rashford, Sancho or even Bruno or Pogba.

So, just looking at it from needing a striker point of view, wouldn't it be worth giving Amad a try? He wasnt even on the bench for the Ranger's game today. He's hardly played so I'm wondering what exactly is the point of him being there.

My brother in law is a Rangers fan and apparently he's not doing himself many favours up there, he is thought to have an attitude problem and when he has beeen given game time he hasn't impressed.

I've heard the fans don't like him. I think the main gripe came from the celtic game. He was subbed on with 15 mins to go iirc and didn't do much.

But a few days later he played a reserve game (or something similar) and scored twice. But still wasn't picked for the following 2 games including the 2nd leg against Dortmund.

Ultimately my thinking is he's played for Atalanta and we're short in goalscorers and he can play wide or up front so why not have him back after the loss of Greenwood.

Having said that, I think it's all too late now anyway.

Anyone watch the U19 Uefa League game? Cracking match. We were easily the better team, should've won it in regular time.

2-2 in the end. We went out on pens unlucky. Garnacho could've scored a hattrick, but he was offside more times than Inzaghi. I like him though.

My player was Iqbal though. Never lost the ball once, never misplaced a pass, set up the first goal and a few other chances. Mistake to take him off in the last 10 mins as I think he would've scored a pen.

Mejbri has an engine on him and was everywhere on the pitch. But some of his passing was just off imo. He could've done better.
