I think the common denominator in all these failings has been Woodward.

That ****er has made errors from the first day of his appointment. A money man making crucial footballing decisions with no knowledge of football.

    From the Telegraph:

France midfielder Paul Pogba, 28, is open to offers from other Premier League clubs when his Manchester United contract expires in the summer.

If this is true, it shows that Pogba is starting to get desperate. It appears to me that no one is offering him more than what we have on the table for him. The little plunker must have been living inside a rock the last two years to not know that money has dried up. Real, his first choice, are after younger stars. Juve most likely can’t afford him. PSG are fully loaded with players on high wages. His best option is to sign the contract offered to him. But I honestly don’t think I want him in the team.

Nobody's ever made any offers for him. I find it strange that none of the big clubs in europe would be willing to pay him higher wages consider there'll be no transfer fee.

He shows he has enough quality but it's not consistent enough, and his workrate is **** and he gives the ball away far too often. His time is up at United and we need to look forward. There are better players out there.

Don't know what planet Raiola lives on. He's just not reading the room, the demands are obscene and offensive.

We should withdraw whatever offer is on the table and allow them to **** off.

Covid really fked up their greedy plan. Blew up in their face big time! Their calculation was to get a £25m/year contract from somewhere. That somewhere has now become nowhere.

This is particularly why I don’t want Haarland who shares the very same agent. We need to move past the chapter of mercenaries because however good they may be, it’s never worth having them in the team.

I would love for Pogba to head to Chelsea. It would be absolutely hilarious if Chelsea would be that stupid to take him on.

He'd be nuts to stay in the prem. Better off in Italy or Spain or PSG if anyone will have him.

Varane is fit for the Leeds game. Lindelof played well enough against Brighton.

Should we play Varane and Lindelof?

Stick him in the middle of a back three, **** it. He'd be covered there!

Telles and Sancho as wing backs.

    Leeds ideal opponents for this.

It really is incredible how much butthurt Ronaldo causes the pundits and rivals <laugh>

The amount of bitters trying to spin the bullshit it was a mistake to re-sign him or that we should sell him in the summer.

All I can say is he must've butt-fcked enough of these ****s on the pitch over the past 19 years.

Haters gonna hate but the dumb fcks still haven't realised he feeds off that **** <rofl>

I think that without running sports news cycle around United, the papers get boring. So they’ll find stories wherever they can without checking the validity.

Now, I’m by no means aware of what’s going on inside the camp, but if the performances pick up, the stories all become immaterial. If we remain dogsht, then it gives credence to whatever bs story they want to write even if it is known to not be true.

“Rio Ferdinand insists Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is thriving with regular starts now that he is no longer competing with Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial.”

I fully agree with that sentiment. We had way too many players competition for similar spots. I think Rashford will also benefit as well from a streamlined midfield competition. Going forward, I hope we start buying players for defined gap to fill as opposed to buying with our eyes closed. We surely can’t do any worse in that department with Arnold in charge versus Mr fkin Woodward.

    It's bullshit.
Sancho made his name playing off the right so maybe in contention with Greenwood, Martial hardly played this season so he didn't get in the way on the left.

If he's playing on the left there was very little excuse for not giving him more game time.

He should've been playing regularly but we don't know the reason why he wasn't. It's clear though that now he is, he's settled in more and playing much better.

You know, I remember a time when it was perfectly normal, dare I say sensible, to think that players take time to settle into a new team or league. Why is it nowadays a player is considered a flop if he doesn't immediately start creating a load of assists and goals? There are things about the modern take on football which are completely fcking stupid.

If players were being played in their best position his main contender should have been Rashford on the left and Greenwood on the right. Like i said, at Dortmund he made his name on the right.

Got to be honest and admit i have never trusted players stats from the BL and in particular from Dortmund, never seen one produce the same once they leave there.

That said i am happy with the way Sancho is settling and think the lad might just break my fear <laugh>

Look at how many of our young players have suffered over the years in regression. I dare say that Greenwood’s mental place probably suffered the most. I believe that there is credible evidence to suggest that the lack of definitive structure at the club for what each player is meant to add to the team has not helped us in building team spirit, leadership and cohesiveness on the pitch. And the problem is centered in that midfield area.

Yeh the whole Rashford and Sancho in opposite positions is weird, but if that's the plan then Sancho had no competition to play more consistently.

FWIW I really can't see Rashford improving playing on the right.

Or maybe Bellingham when he joins <whistle>

Diego, Sancho’s last few years at Dortmund was actually spent on the left and cutting in. He’s multitalented to play confidently on both flanks of the field.

But I hear Treble’s point on players no longer being given enough time to settle. But then again I remember Veron being quickly written off after the first five games as a luxury player. They didn’t give the man a chance!
