He was bought for £19m just 18 months ago.

If we weren't going to buy him at that price why should we buy him at £100m???? To do that would be the definition of 'more money than sense'.

I also really don't fancy going through yet another kamakazee summer transfer window where we fck around with a big name signing that doesn't end up happening anyway.

I know it's fashionable to go for the media hyped overpriced flavour of the month, but how about we do our own homework and go for another excellent striker for about £30m currently also smashing it up in the Bundesligue whose signing will be a lot more straightforward? His name is Weghorst, he plays for Wolfsburg and he has all the attributes to suit the Prem and United.

And if we want a big signing which might actually have a realistic chance of going through then let's put that money into bringing in Declan Rice.

Why are you bringing up a solid striker that most of us have never heard of? Further, why would you suggest that we go into summer transfer without the firm goal of smashing the transfer record and cause media mayhem? You're bonkers, Treble!

On a needs must basis, Sancho is more pressing.

Accept Diallo is with us but there's a hole at right wing that the likes of Rashford and James aren't up to.

Get Sancho with Diallo as back up and we've got options there.

@Big Ern , how's about Beanz, Martial and £50mill for Rice?!? Could maybe throw Matic in as well. :emoticon-0150-hands

If Rice is worth 100m then football is ****ed. Tonali from Milan is the cm we should be going for.

I agree, it's a joke of a price tag but the way the market is, the fact we always pay over the odds, and the fact he's English, unfortunately makes that a reality.

Don't know about Tonali btw, but I think there are good options abroad. For example, better than Kane I'd rate Weghorst. I'm sure he'll end up at Bayern.

Ollie Watkins would be a better buy and fit our style better than Kane imo, trouble is he would probably cost as much now.
