Decent fee and if you include add ons and sell on a pretty good deal by our standards.

Like Maguire he'll probably do alright at a less pressure club like Crystal Palace.

A bid in the morning for Amrabat would be lovely.

He's keen to come to us even with a couple of other clubs (allegedly Livpl and Napoli) sniffing around.

Now we have Rasmus that is the one position we really need to fill.

He'd probably end up going to Saudi who are now suggesting that they have ambitions to join the Champion's League. Sports is so fkd for the foreseeable future.

A worrying trend regarding many of the players we are reportedly interested in is that ETH seems to have coached them at one time or another. I know it is sometimes good for the coach to have a working knowledge/relationship with a player now and then, but I do hope it isn't the single factor that is driving our transfer policy.

It isn’t good for ETH either. Simply working with someone in the past does not make them a guaranteed good fit for the present which is a completely different environment. This is why there should be separation of duty between manager and the director of football. There should also be a broad oversight when it comes to transfers.

    29th August.

There's no way we're doing anything other than a loan deal for Cucurela, and buying that backup goalie.

    Big fat bollox to that.

For the sake of £25m we're going to piss away this season. Fcking pricks.

    That is all.

Apparently there’s a last minute loan deal for Amrabat.

Yep, looks like a loan deal for Amrabat with agreement to buy, effectively buying the player and deferring payment until we have the cash - seems good business.

Hopefully they don’t fk it up. We are down to last minute nonsense yet again.

The Premier League spending represents 30% of all international transfers so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if clubs start going bankrupt in few years.

The ONLY reason they won't fck it up is bcos Amrabat wants to come to us. He's knocked back 3/4 offers, including one Fiorentina allegedly accepted.

If it had been any other player we'd have lost out.

And credit to him, a player who holds out against other big clubs and actually wants to play for us is worth every penny.

I'm still not convinced it'll happen so I'll believe it when/if it does.

I read forest have had a 18m deal to buy agreed. If we lose him when we clearly need him and a LB IS FRANKLY bollocks. How we are restricted by ffp is madness.

I'm not even sure it is ffp. Could just be the Glazers and to do with the sale. Either way it's madness I agree.

How the hell can the likes of Chelsea even exist if we are restricted by ffp? Makes no sense!

At least Henderson has completed his £20m move.
