I'd agree that when Nick couldn't bring in the players to suit the system he wanted to play, he should have altered the system to suit the players he had available, but he saw the style of football he wanted to play as being more important than the final league position he achieved in his first season in charge. It was frustrating for us to watch, but I could see what he was trying to do(even if I didn't agree with it).
I'd only be embarrassed if I was incapable of reading other people's posts and ended up responding to completely different points as you seem to have done here. I'm sure I'll cope being called "blinkered and full of ****" by a guy who was so gutted when AP got the boot that he tried to convince us that the club was up for sale and all the players wanted out. Even though none of that was ever true. Why you can't just stick to football without getting personal is beyond me.
Another hijacked thread..................sigh! How come so many threads STILL get diverted into a witch hunt of previous managers? This was supposed to be about the importance of keeping Koren, not whether Brownie, Adam or Nick were at fault for the club failing or not!
I'm more bothererd about OLM saying that about Tickler. Disgraceful from a mod!! Pot kettle department i suppose. TWT.
I brought up that IMO, Koren only seemed as valuable as he did because of Barmby's system. You'll have to ask everybody else where it went wrong.
