We almost signed Adam in January, Lidls. Redknapp probably saw him as a potential replacement for some of our departing midfielders, like Palacios, O'Hara or Jenas. Certainly not Modric, which is a ridiculous suggestion, frankly. Maybe Man Utd will continue to sign players in the vein of Bebe and Obertan? Shall I go and check the nearest hostel or bus shelter for you?
Modric isn't going As for Adam I believe it was an attempt by Levy to pull off another VDV to make up for failing to sign a striker, as there had been no interest expressed by Harry in that player (he preferred the likes of Parker, Joe Cole and Beckham)
Adam's a decent player, but I can't see him making it into our first XI and he'd be a massive disappointment as a replacement for Modric, which I'm sure Levy would recognise. Ronaldo certainly wan't talked about in the same terms that Bebe is, Lidls. He looks awful.
