My 2 pence worth (not that it's important as I don't often venture on here).

You all seem like decent enough guys - this isn't 606, and it is slowly turning that way by power hungry mods (or super mods - even the title 'super mod' straight away shouts out to me you're a twat!). This forum was always set out to be pretty much anything goes, except the obvious racism etc. So I do wonder why it's turned out like a massive ban hammer fest fuelled by power hungry internet kids...Don't get me wrong most mods are decent, and I'm sure yours are too. But lets all get this site back to what it's supposed to be.

There is always an ignore button - but people don't use it because deep down they like all the shenanigans

We have similar issues at times with some of the Man Utd fans (and vice versa) but if Liverpool and Man Utd fans didn't take the piss out of each other then that wouldn't be natural. In real life it's natural banter and it shouldn't any different on here. Like someone posted earlier - It's a Mags job to come on here and give some banter out, and vice versa. As long as it's not extremely offensive, people should just roll with it

you build up your points through various things, when i first came on the board i used to treat it like a game, not the rep but the points

I was over the moon when i got my first sticky, it was talc who did it aswell iirc

I believe that Bigdownunder was just one of the many names used by Big Chris, which always had the prefix Big!!!

PS..Talc and Teeside are assets to this forum, and I sincerely hope this can be sorted..

I hounded that ****er until he didn't know which way to turn ........ I made mesel look a twat, in the process, but it was worth it when I wound him up so bad he got himself banned.

 

The thing is mate, we do a pretty good job of self moderation on here.
If someone over steps the mark, even if they are one of us, they are roundly denounced by the Sunderland posters.
Then if the guilty party continues our Mods step in.
This is how it should remain.
Without the banter I would be bored ****less.
