I don't need to read that link, it wasn't 3 million, it was a straight swap for Jozy Altidore. Altidore was getting 40k, Defoe is getting 60k. Cracking business. Defoe is not semi retired, anyways, if he is semi retired he still outscored Kramaric

You're wrong it was a straight player swap, the press included his wages in the deal. Don't beleive everything you read, almost all the papers got the wrong end of the stick. straight swap and 60pw wages(100% fact). Despite not getting the service his Goals netted us over 70m.
