To those who said that curtailing the season without relegation was ‘off the table’ for the PL, it seems you put too much importance on the supposed (and unquoted) words of the FA chaps..............<whistle>

Well we go back to what the Brighton chairman said three weeks ago (or was it four?), about Liverpool being made champs and no relegation. Dunno where that leaves Leeds and WBA, but I did agree with what Glen Murray said that it was unfair for the Prem to finish and not the Championship and still have relegation. But whatever they agree has to be agreed by the FA, so I'm more than confident that the FA have said it won't end null and void, so if that's PPG with no relegation, then I'm as happy with that as I can be.

Although I agree it shouldn't go ahead I don't think that will be seen as a bad result at this stage.

No football then until we get a 100% safe vaccine. Crikey, and just when you thought you'd got lucky. <cry>

Plus the six from last week.
I wonder where the new ones caught it since they were clear last week?

Yeah, the mathematics is terrifying. It's reducing by 67% each week. We'll be lucky if it's only 1 next week at this rate.

The league was halted when Arteta caught it. 1 case - singular.

If there’s now been a further 2 positive tests since the 6 last weekend, it’s hardly a ringing endorsement that it’s safe to resume a full contact sport is it?

Amongst the Cummings hullabaloo today the fact that the new infection rate was just shy of 3,000 again, was barely noticed. People are using Germany as a yardstick for PL football, whilst completely ignoring the relative death / infection rate differences between the 2 countries.
