Not really bothered about Man Utd doing well outside of the Prem, might even be better for us if they have more games to play.

Goes to prove Man Utd can be 'got at' mind, 3 goals conceded against a mediocre side.

Berba should have squared it to Nani for an easy tap-in for the winner (in the 5th minute of 4 mins of added time)

The Manchester teams are showing that the EPL isnt the strongest in the world. Theyre the top two clubs in the country and so far theyve failed to beat German, Italian, Swiss and Portugese opposition.

Hey don't knock Basel. Not a mediocre side, probably would beat us. They were missing their best player in Shakiri. The younger Frei is real good, and the old guy has been clinical for the past 10 years. 2 great young players there that would be available for around 5 mio I think. Shakiri is on his last year of contract.

Saw Man U were two up after 23 mins and didn't bother checking until the 85th minute. Gutted I missed Gary Neville commentating on Basel's third. <laugh>

Knew they'd score though, surprised they didn't win it.

    This.

Ribery had an outstanding game and I agree with what he said about this being the best Bayern side he's played in, they're comfortable on the ball, have a lot of pace and a very fluid formation. And that's without Robben. They could go far this season. Hart was easily City's best player.

Mancini has confirmed Tevez refused to play, I actually thought he was going to cry.

The Bundesliga's a good league, miles ahead of Serie A and definitely up there with our own Premier League and La Liga.

Mancini or Tevez? Dzeko kicked off when he was subbed as well. Everyone said Mancini would struggle to keep all his players happy, I didn't think it would happen this early on.
