The comment made about the 3 stars on our shirts being desperate is way off the mark. I will be the first to say that we are **** and on this form will be relegated but the 3 stars represent a unique achievement that can never be taken away from us. You will mock but it really doesn't matter. I have had some brilliant times supporting my club and although we are in serious decline I will still go on supporting the Town whatever league we end up in. If it mean's travelling to Exeter or some other god awful places next season then so be it!
Exeter is a rather nice City, mind you the ground is crap! I am sure you will enjoy the experience (should relegation happen, FWIW I don't think you will). Helps to make you appreciate what you have at your own club, no matter how badly it is being run

Almost as predictable as banging on about past glory. It's like a 37 year old raving about this 17 year old bird he shagged when he was 18 - pretty sad ROFLYSST
JWM - but you don't see Man U, Liverpool with stars splashed across their shirts. I guess it's a good way for you guys to clutch on to the memories of when you had your moment in the sunshine. With the dark cloud of Evans and Clegg hanging over Portman Road I guess you to need to cling on to all the sunshine you can get at the moment.
Although we have good banter and take the piss I do have a great deal of admiration for what you have achieved and continue to achieve. Your present situation reminds me in some ways of the George Burley years when we had a bright, hungry manager who was keen to improve year on year alongside an able football savy CEO who gave the manager the backing and a strategic plan to work towards. Now we have neither and for the moment the die has been cast. If we are to go through the trauma of relegation then we will come back stronger for the experience but just when is another matter.
I get the feeling you aren't too happy at the moment waving those tenners around doesn't seem so smart now does it?
Jewell's reputation is built on getting teams into a position in which they look like getting relegated, and then saving them on the last day. I don;t see why anyone is surprised at the the way things are going for 1p5wich this season.
