Looks like we won race for Shea. And he is having a medical. But this is from the Sun newspaper and is more than a week old http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...ex-Arsenal-target-Brek-Shea-of-FC-Dallas.html Also I thought that we pulled out What is going on?
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...p-tracking-Peter-Crouch-and-Christopher-Samba This wont go away! Stoke are to make a late £2.5m move for Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak. Striker Danny Graham, 27, has asked to quit Swansea - with Sunderland ready to complete a £5.5m transfer. (Daily Mirror) This will add weigh to KJ going!
Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Queens Park Rangers have expressed an interest in Stoke striker Peter Crouch and Anzhi Makhackala defender Christopher Samba. However, he doubts either deal will happen! by Mark Buckingham 1/29/2013 12:03:17 PM 12:03 PM
If it came to a toss up i'd prefer to keep Jones and i've slated him on here, which all in all is quite shabby!!!
Crouch (like Owen, Upson & Woodgate) were status transfers IMO. I think KJ is more suited to our style even though I think Crouch is a quality player - he is just wasted playing for us and being at the end of his career means he has nothing to really prove. I wouldnt suprise me if we ended up without either and purchased Holt!
Smithers, I think there is something in that, buy a player in order to attract further players to the club.
I have written umpteen posts on Pulis and his trophy buys!!, and that's all that they were/are. It really sums it up for me: We don't score goals, so let's sell the only player looking likely to score - Jones. Probably sell Crouchas well.- leaving us with...er Owen. Pure genius. Not that it is all the fault of the strikers, but that's the same old story which is not only tediius but soul destroying. I have had enough and my negativity on here must be peeing off a lot of folk. Another flounce coming up, so Mods please delete my account. I will have a look in now and again. To everybody that (cyber) know me, take care, it's been fun. Nick
ONB, Well at least Jerome should get a game, i don't think Owen will the grass is to long, he could get lost in a tussock. No one has been sold yet and you never know Mr P might dazzle us with his brilliance, cos he's kept it bloody well hidden so far!! If you do decide to call it a day that's up to you mate, you've not pee'd me off, quite the opposite in fact, but it's your call mate so keep taking the medication and av a good un.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp and his Stoke counterpart Tony Pulis are arranging a swap deal involving strikers Peter Crouch, 31, and Jamie Mackie, 27. Full story: The Mirror Tony Pulis is willing to let Peter Crouch join QPR - providing he can find a replacement for the Stoke City striker - Daily Mail I wonder how much this deal is going to cost us?
Given our full back situation we should have signed him IMO. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...an-Hutton-eyeing-permanent-Real-Mallorca-move
Asmir Begovic has been attracting attention with his performances this season. Manchester United are now as short as 3/1 (favourites) to sign him this month, while Liverpool are 10/1 outsiders. by @skyjamiecasey 1/29/2013 9:29:11 PM 9:29 PM yesterday
Smither's I heard (whispers) about Begovic et Training Ground the other day.. He's going to UTD, But NOT until end of the season. It's too many talking about it, for it to be just rumour's etc.

Though born and raised in England, Mackie represents Scotland at international level, his eligibility to do so is as a result of his grandfather being born in Kilmarnock. Born in Dorking, he began his career at Wimbledon, progressing through the club's youth system to make his first team debut in December 2003. He was a member of the squad when the club was renamed and moved to Milton Keynes, but made a limited number of appearances before joining Conference side Exeter City. He spent time on loan with Sutton United in 2005 and returned to establish himself as a first team regular. 12 goals in 27 appearances during the 2007–08 season attracted interest from other clubs and he signed for Plymouth Argyle in the January transfer window, scoring twice on his debut in the Championship. He appeared regularly for the club over the next two years and finished as the club's top goalscorer in the 2009–10 season. He joined Queens Park Rangers in May 2010, signing a four year contract for an undisclosed fee.

And again it appears we are still going to sign Shea This page is only 16 hours old though http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21256177 " who arrived in England shortly before the Potters' 2-2 draw with Wigan" Another thing BBC said: "Stoke are willing to sell Crouch but have rejected a player plus cash offer that would have seen Jamie Mackie move to the Britannia Stadium. "QPR are now preparing to return with a straight cash offer for Crouch with Stoke attempting to recoup close to the £10m they paid for him in August 2011."
After last nights 2nd half performance and with the subs TP brought on I really don't care what happens at the moment regarding the transfer window. Let Crouch go to QPR, Jones to Swansea, Bego to Utd, whoever else to wherever. After all we will get to keep Walters, so Tony will be pleased. And we may get a little bit of money for them to offset by a very small amount the huge layout we made in buying them in the first place. Top half finish.... NO. 10 year plan and slow evolution..... b******s, not while Pulis remains. And I don't pay hard earned cash to watch them every other week!!!
Charlie Adam Stoke's man of the match last night and now Pulis comes out and says he is not part of his long term plan and he is linked with a move to Everton. No wonder none of the players are up for playing for him and Stoke!
