If it came to a toss up i'd prefer to keep Jones and i've slated him on here, which all in all is quite shabby!!!

 

Crouch (like Owen, Upson & Woodgate) were status transfers IMO. I think KJ is more suited to our style even though I think Crouch is a quality player - he is just wasted playing for us and being at the end of his career means he has nothing to really prove.

I wouldnt suprise me if we ended up without either and purchased Holt!

I think there is something in that, buy a player in order to attract further players to the club.

 

I am surprised that we haven't bid for Becchio yet!

I have written umpteen posts on Pulis and his trophy buys!!, and that's all that they were/are.

It really sums it up for me:

We don't score goals, so let's sell the only player looking likely to score - Jones. Probably sell Crouchas well.- leaving us with...er Owen. Pure genius.

Not that it is all the fault of the strikers, but that's the same old story which is not only tediius but soul destroying.

Well at least Jerome should get a game, i don't think Owen will the grass is to long, he could get lost in a tussock. No one has been sold yet and you never know Mr P might dazzle us with his brilliance, cos he's kept it bloody well hidden so far!! If you do decide to call it a day that's up to you mate, you've not pee'd me off, quite the opposite in fact, but it's your call mate so keep taking the medication and av a good un.

James Charles "Jamie" Mackie (born 22 September 1985) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Queens Park Rangers. Though born and raised in England, Mackie represents Scotland at international level, his eligibility to do so is as a result of his grandfather being born in Kilmarnock.
Born in Dorking, he began his career at Wimbledon, progressing through the club's youth system to make his first team debut in December 2003. He was a member of the squad when the club was renamed and moved to Milton Keynes, but made a limited number of appearances before joining Conference side Exeter City. He spent time on loan with Sutton United in 2005 and returned to establish himself as a first team regular. 12 goals in 27 appearances during the 2007–08 season attracted interest from other clubs and he signed for Plymouth Argyle in the January transfer window, scoring twice on his debut in the Championship. He appeared regularly for the club over the next two years and finished as the club's top goalscorer in the 2009–10 season. He joined Queens Park Rangers in May 2010, signing a four year contract for an undisclosed fee.

After last nights 2nd half performance and with the subs TP brought on I really don't care what happens at the moment regarding the transfer window. Let Crouch go to QPR, Jones to Swansea, Bego to Utd, whoever else to wherever. After all we will get to keep Walters, so Tony will be pleased. And we may get a little bit of money for them to offset by a very small amount the huge layout we made in buying them in the first place. Top half finish.... NO.

Charlie Adam Stoke's man of the match last night and now Pulis comes out and says he is not part of his long term plan and he is linked with a move to Everton. No wonder none of the players are up for playing for him and Stoke!
