Becchio? Is there a possibility that we are going to make a move for him? TP targeted him in the summer.
On second thoughts TP should do whatever is necessary to get Jenkinson on loan, we are in desperate need of full-backs after todays performance
Arsene Winger knows the clubs relations are strained to say the least ! if he was letting the lad go out on loan i wonder if it was a way to stop the hatred between the 2 teams ?
In all reality it does not matter who Pulis signs. He will either: A). Not play him B). Play him out of position. N'zoni and Bego are obvious exceptions
According to the BBC Begovic would like to move to Man U in the summer, however if they were to buy him they would have to pay upwards of £13 million. Who would be his replacement? And also we would be able to bring in more people like Olsson and Shea
Well we defo need proper fullbacks, that would free up two midfielders so if your first or second name begin with W form an orderly queue!!
With emphasis on "it does not matter" because our first priority is getting someone who can manage our team. There is light at the end of the tunnel , but I will not be able to see it , because I am too old and it's too far off. But to you younger fans , I say , KTF. Pulis will not live forever. Have a nice day.
Hey KKB.- a younger fan ME. A big big 68 year old man hug from yours truly. I was going to from a clapped out Stokie but I'm not giving Jowler any openinngs today. Oh NO......
You will need a sign for that NB, "clapped out ", that would make it a Co -sign, it's either that or you could become ONP.
For me 10 million is a fair enough price for Begovic and would result in a decent return for us. As good as Begovic is Sorenson could step back in if the rest of the team was playing well enough, ultimately your keeper is your last reort when everything else has failed. Its the failing areas on the rest of the pitch that needs addressing, Full backs, and strikers being a priority. For me the midfield is fine (IMO) with Adam, Nzonzi and Wilson when fit and Palcious. I also think that if played correctly, Ethrington, Pennant, Kightly are fine for our wings, but we may need to pick another up due to Ethrington's age. Our lack of goals is from lack of creativity (thats is a tactical issue) and lack of abilty from our strike force. KJ although capable is not really what we should be pinning our goals on and Crouch is ultimatley at the end of his career. Walters is embarassing (he has a career stat of 0.18 goals per game including lower leagues and a Stoke stat of 0.185 and is our deignated penalty taker!!!!!!) and Jerome isn't being given a chance but on past evedience suggest that he is going to struggle to score double figures in the league. We generally conceed 50 + goals a season and as a manager you have to look at where you are going to be able to score 50 goals yourself - can you?
Smithers, I t wouldn't matter if we had Messi, Van Persie, Ronaldo and Rooney playing for us as long as Pulis uses the team as his plaything rather than a football club nothing will change.I fully agree about the fullbacks, think we need two designated strikers and think the centre midfield as you say would be fine if allowed to play more. Think I would freshen the wingers as you said Ethers is getting on Kightly could do more or develop more, more of good competition for players in there proper places.
