Yes, 3/1 from 8/1 last night. That's how reassured gamblers feel after Brucey's comments today. If Pardew gets sacked he's off.
Watched an interview with him sometime in the last couple of days. He was explaining that he didn't understand FFP & why QPR were being fined for overspending last season. Said it wasn't fair Utd (sorry bummers) could spend more than them & all teams should be allowed £30m to spend. He couldn't grasp that it's based on your income, a little like your income tax. Oh hang on........... He really is a dodgy ****er.
Brucie would definitely go to his boyhood and fave club...and if were honest Nfc are a far bigger club than us.That said he`d be about Newcastles 4th or 5th choice anyway.
Pardew hasn't been sacked yet but if he were Bruce is 2nd choice with the bookies.. http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/newcastle/next-permanent-manager
Moyes,Hoddle,Laudrup or make Koeman an offer he/swansea couldnt refuse more Ashleys style i think.....but why pay massive compensation to your current manager when u trying to sell up and buy a Glasgow club if rumours are true?
I'm sure Swansea would take the money, but I don't think even Ashley is that stupid to approach a team where Koeman isn't manager, Southampton might have something to say.
lol meant Liverpool obv!......but exactly this scenario where we need Brucie on a long contract and not this daft rolling 1yr thing which is Brucies choice by the way...u ever wondered why he refers to us as `they` and not `us` more than not in the media?
Yeah.....sod it ..think am gonna turn down this 2year 19k per week more at my fave club...these Hull fans something else!...the fans here at the KC as always have pieced my heart yet again tonite! ?
Am I right in thinking, if a club go for a manager from another club, there will have to be money paid to the club as compensation. If so, I'd of thought moyes or pulis would be the likely offer, as Ashley will already be paying pardew off!
I always thought betting odds simply reflected betting patterns and not the likelihood of an event happening. People are reading the daily mirror etc. and sticking money on Bruce. The odds are just reflecting that. Bookies don't like to lose money.
Well if there is one area where Papa Allam prides himself it is in hardnose business negotiations - can't see him just letting go of SB without a dog fight and serious compensation. This is where AA will see himself as Premier League Level - the money end.
Interesting -- Iain dowie at 66/1, Phil Brown at 100/1, Diego Maradona and Robbie Fowler????? at 250/1 Let the nightmare begin alright...for Newcastle!!!!!
Allams cant do fk all.....hence Brucies insistance on 1yr contracts....we a stepping stone and always have been....gl to him i still say though....someday
