And if he didn't comment on it when asked , everyone would be saying, "his silence is deafening". Bruce is in a no win situation with some supporters

My take on this possible scenario is the slap he got at Sunderland might work in our favour if the a toon job comes up. Whilst working under a silly old **** Bruce will have still realised by now that the job here by comparison to events elsewhere in the North East is far less heart attack prone, and the easier to achieve Imo given time.

Moyes will be the next Newcastle manager. They will not appoint a Sunderland reject.

Don't think you have to worry guys, Ashley won't pay Pardew 6 years compensation so we're most likely stuck with him.

Easiest three points you'll get all season on Saturday.

The whole idea of this forum is to add how you feel on certain topics, and I am merelyputting my take on the situation,as do all the anti allams on here. But I respect their opinion and find it best not to try and antagonise them any more than needed. I may have sounded that I didn't give a damn about Bruce.Far from it. He is by far the best thing that has happened to this football club in all my time I have been supporting City/Tigers. I do hope he is not turned if it offered to him,but it is obvious in his wording that he quite fancies it.

But nobody wouldve known if he'd turned down the interview. He went on there to talk about the Newcastle job.

as i said , who on here would turn down the chance to manage City regardless of what other offers were out there .

OK SB has a career to build , but he has done that for a long time now .

Despite what their current standing and trophy cabinate looks like , Newcastle is a big English club

and up there people bleed black and white - yes we think their fans are often deluded , the despite all that its a bloody big club

and a temptation to any manager , let alone one who has supported them for a lifetime .

I still think Bruces comment last week on his own job security if Allam sells may prompt him to either force Allams bluff or make noises to Ashley .

If Bruce was offered the Toon job..He'd go...Its a no brainer...

Reasons: There is too much politics at the KC..CTWD vs Allam vs other fans who frankly couldn't give a to$$ about the name change...and tradition (what fecking tradition?) Plus he's a Toon boy from Wallsend.

Which beggers the question who would come in ?....Agnew and the other backroom staff would probably go with Bruce....Would Pulis come to City? I've got my doubts....We'd end up with Chris what-his face and certain relegation....Yours depressed.

I don't want the name change but SB must be working for one of the best owners in the premier league he supported him all the way, put his money were is mouth is he can't ask for any more than that apart from is stupid comments and this name change thing. A club the size of ours competing and beating many bigger clubs in the transfer market is down to SB and AA. Hopefully he would stay but the troubles off the field ? if the ownership does change? going to the club you have supported as a lad, an area were you have plenty of family who knows? the only thing we can hope for is everything settles down quickly and we show our support to SB and the team starting tomorrow night

I honestly believe Newcastle will go for a "bigger" manager. If they were to go for Bruce though, I think he would go..

He's said before that his biggest regret is that he turned down the Newcastle job when it was offered to him before.

Hope your right Hullborn....Newcastle might hold onto Pardew for a while yet...Or even consider Pulis or Moyes before SB or even go for some Johnny Foreigner...
