It's not though is it and you remind me of fosse when he laughed off the suggestion... guess what happened? .. stop thinking anything you don't agree with is trolling mate.
Oh course it's trolling, Europa hasn't been Leicester's downfall this season, just the fact they've been dogshit and lost 7 of the first 8 games. The Europa games were easy games in the background. Europe was a problem for us in 2012/13 cos Ashley didn't want to be in it and didn't strengthen the squad...yet still we got to the quarters of it with a crap team! The whole point of getting us into CL/Europe was to regular stay there, so the squad will be strengthened as a result.to stay we won't have another chance for years is utterly ridiculous; the focus is on getting better and better. Why is Leicester's experience not relatable to us? Because we're massively better than Leicester.
That is your opinion Charlie and that is fine but many would agree with me on the subject and you need to accept my opinion rather than just keep mouthing off your own while completely dismissing mine. You don't think it holds clubs back and that it's easier to get straight into the top 5 and I do. that's it . You're entitled to your opinion.
I actually agree with you on this one. Just have to hope, regardless of which competition, we get quality numbers in through the door. We need 7/8 good signings
No. There's a difference between saying Europe involves quite a few extra games and we need to strengthen the squad to make sure the league challenge is still strong, and decreeing that Europe next season means we won't be challenging for the top 4 again for the foreseeable.
That's my entire point though, the squad WILL be strengthened significantly, not like 2012, when nothing was spent on a threadbare squad, and it only just managed to stay up with the Europe games being played.
West Ham have been on a downer for a while, last half of last season was bad, and that carried on into this season. Isn't really a sign of the squad being stretched, so much as the fans realising Moyes's time is up there. Does underline how bad Europa is though, that West Ham have nearly won it despite having an awful season.
That's not answered the question though mate and I'm not going to change my opinion and you're entitled to yours as I've said a few times Today.
But will it? We need 5 starting players which may well be almost £200m then a few to bulk out the squad with better quality players
