thats the thing m8 ..i sen alot of na not having it m8 ..ball played in ..he was in a offside po.siton .he had a head start on our player ..her then becomes active when he draws the player and hits it off his back //phases my arse
Vardy was offside, obviously, Morgan made a great goalkeeping save, Simpson's professional foul out wide when he was beaten didn't get a card and Townsend was clattered on the edge of the box and got nothing but a blank stare. Ref had a blinder for them. We should have won that game through our own chances though. Awful in the final third, finishing was crap, with our players constantly running into one another.
Look our season starts next week. Give Rafa some time to get some magic done. Has to be four points minimum next two games. Anyone who gets sent off next week is ****in dead to me. I will sacrifice 100 goats this week to his most evil one, The Lord of Flies and misery, in order achieve beating those bastards next week. However, I fear it may take many more goats to slake his unholy thirst.
Okay l might acquiesce to the Vardy offside, but Morgan blocked the ball with his elbow, it was intentional as he moved the elbow towards the ball and not the ball to elbow. It was a pen all day long. That said we defended both our best chances to score by getting in each other's way, didn't shoot when we ought too, but that's what happens when you lack confidence, it would have only taken one goal, it didn't come in this game, but will in the next. Like l said green shoots.
I tell you what, if that's the kind of refereeing Leicester have enjoyed this season, it's no wonder they're top. I've rarely seen anything like it away from Old Trafford. Wind - which knocked Mahrez over several times - was lucky to escape a booking. I'm still puzzled by it. By Leicester. More power to them, hope they win the league, but you have to ask how the fck they can do it. It's genius in a way - "hmm, I've got Huth and Morgan.....right, you two, come here....if you even SEE a football, just fcking hammer it absolutely anywhere, doesn't matter where, then get eight defenders back and go from there." Then you somehow find not one, not two, but THREE of the greatest buys in the history of the league - Mahrez, Vardy and Kante - who are basically as good as anyone in their positions, and hey presto, winning formula. As for us - well, unfortunately we played a team who are known for having banks of four, then Kante is essentially two players, which is also unfair. I was wrong - precisely the wrong team to play. We looked rusty, or is it tufty? I disagreed with the Perez swap - when moved central, he's so much more dangerous. Mitro just needs to step it up - stop moaning, when you lose it get it back, be quicker. I think we'll be safe, but Sunday is insanely big.
We weren't on the boil tonight by a long shot, glad we got past the "new manager spirit" game, was happy to grind it out after a managerial change. Certainly wasn't a toothless McClown performance, Rafas worked well in his first few days, think your chances in the derby have gone up tenfold.
The problem I see is that everyone will say "promise", "getting better", but we've had so many false dawns. We say this ****e, but as an addendum to ANOTHER loss. 9/12 or something. That isn't relegation form, that's Derby County record low points form. I guarantee you this team is going down. They can't score, and cannot defend. The team sorely needs the shotgun to the head treatment that is relegation.
Listening to Rafa he's right - we tried to get that first goal and if we'd gone ahead I'd like to have seen what happened to Leicester then. Honestly speaking - they won't win this league.
I think you are correct it was a shot towards the goal and his elbow moves towards the ball not the other way round, no doubt for me that was a stonewall penalty. Have seen some improvements already from Rafa with the way they setup though, although I think Janmaat is a liability with his awareness and reading of the game. You need to score goals to stay up though and unless he gets that sorted no matter how much defensive work they do it could be a struggle but Leicester were hanging on tonight and the work rate of the players couldn't be faulted.
With only 8 games left they don't need to play well - they just need to win games. On top of that, to stop them winning then their rivals need to put good runs together. None of them have looked capable of putting a sustained run together. Don't write Leicester off yet.
Haven't Tottenham won 6 or 7 on the bounce? I think it would be great for football, I just don't think they will. I think Spurs will. But then I think we'll be safe, so what the **** do I know!!!
We didn't look much of a team, but were much better than we've been. Our front line were the poorest part of the side. Mitrovic is not Premiership class presently, but still young. No decent shots or headers from anyone - just fear across the front line. It's pee poor confidence really. But we were close to keeping a clean sheet and getting a point against the league leaders. We showed more organisation and fight, even if our front line couldn't take a chance. Come Sunday, we'll have St James Park with atmosphere. We'll do it and get going. I've seen enough tonight to see we're on the up.
Janmaat was much more subdued until we went a goal down. Then you've got no real choice. It's not like we lost by a few, we lost by one fortunate goal.
There is no way they can't win it. Game in, game out they have had some ridiculous luck, but also some ridiculous goals. They'll feel untouchable and that makes the opponents wary. They are on a roll now, but with some degree of certainty, next year they will seriously struggle to do better than mid-table. Injuries and an out of form Vardy or Mahrez, and they're not special, as much as I appreciate them being special right now.
No. They've only won one on the bounce, preceded by a draw with Arsenal and loss to West Ham. They looked like they were about to put a run together, but everytime any of the teams at the top look like doing that they hit a banana skin.
At the end of the day. We have to be realistic. We played them at home. Lost 3-0 under mclart. We went to them and lost 1-0 and where unlucky if it where not for sissoko and his last ditch defending for them. We played ok. But our midfielders need to give more. Sissoko. Crap. Ayoze crapZ gini. Crap. But Leicester are too because they grind out results and we dont. That's why we are in the position we are in.
I had thought that Mitrovich would come good with a little more time, but the game is quicker than his brain will ever be. I hate to say it but l am beginning to suspect that JPF whilst having an irrational hatred of Mitro, just might be right. The guy was woeful again, has no pace and his hold up play which usually endears him to me was poor. Sissoko was trying too hard, but IMHO was at least trying, here is Gini? De Jong miles off the pace and rusty as a barn door. I don't know why they took Doumbia on loan, he doesn't get enough game time to influence anything. We don't have enough quality up front, simple as that.
