That's quite fair, but how many times has McGregor's shot stopping cost us points this season? It has been more than good enough. His decision making on crosses and set pieces has been excellent and has helped us out a lot. I would rather have a better all round keeper than a great shot stopper that is not as good at other aspects.

Indeed, McGregor has been ****ing quality this year, made numerous unthinkable saves (Chelsea home and away spring to mind).

It's not as if Schmeichel is poor in other aspects, he's still a suberb all round GK.

That being said, If you offered Mcgregor at £1.8m or Schmeichel at £4m, I'd take McGregor every time.

we always seem to get this kind of comment from the armchair PL plastic brigade don't we?
Dan Sim on Twitter @bbc: "Always good to see a traditional team get promoted. Now get teams like Forest up instead of Cardiff, Stoke, Hull etc."

So what ? Does anyone really care what Dim Sam tweets ?

Very well deserved. Far and away the best team in the Championship this year. Glad Burnley look like coming up too. Good honest team. Hope Derby win the playoffs but Wigan will be tough.

Shame that Burnley lost Ings and Vokes for the Lesta game as a Burnley win would have made the championship title race much better. Now sadly that is almost sorted as well. Burnley IF they win tonight @ Barnsley and @ home on saturday to Middlesboro should be almost home in 2nd place and again deservedly so.

I'll be honest and say I didn't think Nigel Pearson was capable of getting a team promoted to the Premier League, but well done Leicester. Will he get more than a dozen games in the PL?

If he doesn't then Lesta will be next seasons Cardiff.

Im sure every single team in the EPL next season will be looking to finish above us*, exactly as they were this season.
*assuming we're in it, which we all seem to be doing...

I dont think we shall even be talked about as being a relegation club. That honour will go to the 3 who come up plus 3 others.

All I can say is "we'll see".

Of course. Going to be fun. Hopefully we wont see you until say late November. Let you get your feet under the table so to speak.

It will be interesting to see if Nigel has the power to sign the players you need, as there is no doubt Steve Bruce managed to get signing, such as Huddlestone that other managers would not have achieved.

Now that will be interesting. I can see Lesta being more popular than say Burnley - Wigan - Palace - Wba - Fulham/Norwich as examples. I think that Steve Bruce wont have any issues getting the players he wants especially if we get into the europa league.

4-1 to Brighton...This Lesta side are going places....watch out Reading they're coming for your record! :grin:

Leicester will be backed with decent money in the summer.

It also helps how their backroom team can spot a promising player and get them in on the cheap- Chester, Brady, for example.

There's always dross at the bottom of the premier league, who knows it could be us next season.

Don't right anyone off just yet.

Nice of you to say we have done well in the Premiership although I believe its called the Premier League now Jack

I was fairly ambivalent towards Leicester being promoted.

AKCG's cocky waffling tonight has turned me around on that now. Here's to a Cardiff-like season :D

What is to disagree with there?

Do you have players like Michu, Benteke or Bony? No. Thats why they're the next level.
Michu? ****ing MICHU?

The novelty has well and truly worn off with him. I didn't even realise he was playing on Saturday until I saw the line-ups in the match reports.

There isn't much in it, which proves my point that we're only 4/5 shrewd signings from being a side that'll look to finish above you.

I've only just noticed you amended the quote.

<laugh>

Nice one Andy, genuinely, brought a tear to my eye I laughed so hard when I saw it.

Nugent and Drinkwater equal to Donkavic and Huddlestone respectively?

<laugh>

There's delusional, there's biased, and then there's just so ****ing stupid it's a great joke. Quite the comedian aren't you.
