More bad news for the club, shame as he has looked so good at times.

M'V is a loan, YK goes though spells of being Good, being Bad and being injured

Fair enough, tho' I think we have an option to buy M'V. Sad thing is, buying players in is a risky afair, and no doubt we have underperformed alarmingly in this respect for a number of years.

This does have a feel of a power play by SA, sending a message to the squad to get on board or get out.

Hopefully Lens gets the message and gets his head down and battles for it. Sadly I don't think that's in his makeup.

Jeremain Lens admits he's unhappy with his situation at Sunderland and has not ruled out leaving the Stadium of Light in January.

Lens was left out of Sunderland's squad for last weekend's defeat at Chelsea for disciplinary reasons following an incident at the end of the loss against Watford seven days earlier.

The Dutch international - who spent part of last week training with the Under-21s - has not started for Sunderland since October's Wear-Tyne derby, with Sam Allardyce expressing concerns over the 28-year-old's work-rate.

And that could prompt the £13million summer signing to consider his future next month, albeit he is unlikely to join Dutch leaders Ajax.

Lens told Fox Sports: "It’s definitely annoying.

“I do not play and I did not come to the Premier League to sit on the bench. Something has to change. What, we will see though.

"A transfer in the winter? That could happen. Once the window is open, we will see what will happen."

However, Lens insists he knows nothing about reports that he will be fined two weeks wages for the incident after the Watford game.

All Allardyce would say over Lens' absence last weekend was that the winger had been left out for "disciplinary" reasons.

Lens added: “I know nothing (about the fine).

“No one has spoken to me. I read in the media that I have to pay a fine. Nothing else is said.”

On whether he would pay the fine, Lens said, “I first want to hear why, then I will determine whether I therefore agree.

"There is what happened after the game, but that I discuss in private."

We know, it says more about our budget than it does about anything. He was available for a permanent signing but we wanted to try before we buy. He'll sign for someone else next summer.

So he's saying he heard nothing of the fine (so could be the paper making up ****e) and Allardyce has said he was droipped for disciplinary reasons? If he has been fined, he should be the first to know about it!

If he doesn't want to be on the bench - he should ****ING WORK TO GET OFF IT instead of looking for a transfer - lazy ****e!

Yeah think it was the Press jumping the gun on fines. The famous 'maximum of two weeks wages' to draw readers in. <doh>

Mind you, there's enough confirmation from both sides something went on.

Lazy **** need to pull his weight and he'll be playing regularly. He's not even a luxury player, he hasn't proved himself in this league yet. But thinks he can walk into teams without effort. This lads is so not cut out for this league with that attitude.

We've had players like this before. It's sickening as fook as PL players are paid a kings ransom and should set an example.

You might still have one or two, the Villa game should have been put to bed, instead of working for the team one or two got sloppy and at this level complacency is fatal, two points were lost, which might be very costly in the long run. Having said that I was impressed with Colo who has had his critics recently but dug in and played very well imo. I think whoever is top dog in the NE will be safe, and I for one hope its both of us, cheers Albert.

He returned to training today after a club suspension apparently so one would presume he's had a meeting with Sam.
