I sit next to the red and white stripe that separates the "family section" from the main South Stand - it's always noisy - I join in when I'm not gigging but find it difficult to sing sometimes after a noisy game so have had to pull back a lot! My boy makes a racket though (he's 11) and he sits in front of me I'm teaching him right
Absolutely mate! Regularly disagree with the lads around me too (as a Cattermole fan that seems to happen regularly!) Love the games mind - and love the games where I'm not giggins afterwards so I can just give it what for!!
Shows BSA is analysing everything, something the previous managers did not do. I know he is a fan of sports science and brought a lot of extra staff and technology in at Bolton. Its probably what we need. If he can show the player the statistics and data they cannot really moan they are being singled out or picked on. It could be the kick up the arse some of them need. I trust Sam, I think this season will be all about staying up, so he will spend on defenders in Jan. I expect him to start to shape his own team in the summer. If we stay up next season could see a little more stability.
It does, cold air effects the lungs which in turn effects the performance of the diaphragm. If the diaphragm isn't functioning properly you strain your voice.
Absolutely spot on. I warm my voice up singing scales and the like on the way to my gigs. I drink water that is room temperature at the coldest for exactly this reason when I'm gigging! I drink only warm stuff at the games too!!
Exactly. That's why for cold matches a like a hip flask of Kaluha and pour it in a hot chocolate or coffee. Lovely hot boozie treat and keeps me in good voice.
You've lost me there like ???? Where has the 'cold' reference come from?? If it is because I said midweek games were 'torture'... I meant that I hadn't got my voice back from the Saturday game. I can clearly remember times of losing my voice for over a week, when attending games sat, wed, sat! Brilliant times
Cold as in runny nose & sore throat - nothing to do with the games - thats trouble with emotional/humerous texts posts & emails - - no body language included so meaning is often missed - smilies do help tho
