Anyone already throwing bricks at the way Big Sam works needs their head examining.

Just give him time to sort out the chaff from the wheat and he'll get us back up next season :emoticon-0136-giggl

Lens is lazy, like many others alluded to in the article. I'd say Sam has the nouse and 'social skills' to shake this lot into shape.

Just hope he has enough time! Think he has the balls and the nouse to face some of these players down, and eventually get the best out of them, or they face the door....its just the time that bothers me.

PS. I to am a lazy **** & can't be bothered repeating my thoughts of the past 3 years in full BUT they are ALL still just a bunch of unfit pissheads & if not when they arrive, they soon become one. Two down, three to go :emoticon-0167-beer:

Ola had always put his weight about and made things difficult for defenders the times I've seen him but he's a CF. Lens also will be lazy being a striker at heart. Perhaps playing players in their correct positions would help. Mind you that would give us a lot of CFs

    Defoe
    Fletch
    Borini
    Graham
    Ola
    Lens
    Watmore

Do we need 7 CFs? Highlights a lot of our problems if you ask me. The only Natural wide men we have is AJ who prefers to be inverted cutting in and Larson Who's more of RM than RW and doesn't bring much width.

Graham will never make it at this club mate, plenty effort no quality isnt good enough at this level.

I dont think lens or ola are strikers tbf there midfielders. But they are known in holland for being lazy ****s and by the looks of it sam isnt gona stand for it and fair play to him.

On a lighter note feyenoord won 5-0 today and the game was top notch you just cant Beat the atmosphere it pisses all over sunderland imo.

Memphis was busted in the press by LVG and he turned things round, he played well yesterday.

Di Canio is a ****ing fruit loop, there's a reason he's not had another job since, total idiot. Might have had the visions of a perfectionist architect but he executed it with all the guile of a pissed up bull.

So because we hadn't scored enough they didn't give a ****? They're probably all the plastics. I'm from a world where 16k at roker would sing their heart out even when we were getting stuffed.

Certainly agree with your emotional post - I know all about the vocal support at Roker Park in the Fulwell but it was all standing in like minded singing group(s) - had atmosphere and a magic - honestly I don't think in general our all seater stadiums encourage singing and have a poor match atmosphere in general- (congregated away fans excepted) plus the atmosphere where I was in West Stand was more vocal than usual - just different groups of less vocal supporters there now - sad but there you go

Losing your voice is part of the day!!
Back in the Roker days it took til Tue/Wed to get my voice back properly... It was torture if you had a midweek game too.
Nowadays I'm usually okay the day after.... Much to the wife's disappointment.
Think she enjoys the 'mute' version !!
