Michel Antonio is being chased by WBA. I'd rather sign him than Lennon.

He must be banging Bruce's daughter or something, he should be in the starting 11 for me, him and Robertson on the left.

My preference too. Brady's inclusion and experience of left wing-back also helps with Robertson's perceived defensive frailties. Can you imagine if we had Lennon in front of him? We'd be raped down that side every game.

I do think if we signed Lennon then we will play Elmo at right back, Bruce can not drop his love child, despite his childish antics of putting the ball in the back of the net with his hand so blatantly.

I agree about preferring Brady for Robertson at the moment, but Robertson is a fantastic talent for his age and needs protecting. Carver got his tactics spot on on Saturday in attacking Robertson and nullifying Elmohamady, but it could have been a different story had we taken our chances in that first half.

Elmo should be in our first 11 every single week, he's our most consistent and most creative player, he's brilliant.

Agreed. He's 7 out of 10 every week standard. He will be PotY by a mile, only Jelavic could seriously challenge him but he's out too much.

Apart from when he goes to hand ball it and pulls his hand away nearly every game like a 12 year old would do, when he dives and looks shocked when he doesn't win a free-kick, when he blamed Ince on Saturday because he put it out for a throw-in instead of passing it to him, and when he attempts the hand of god. I've never doubted Elmo before, because as you say he is very consistent, however recently he is starting to annoy me with his childish antics.

I always thought you could come up with much better than that!! :emoticon-0116-evilg

Go through every team in the league, you will find a cheat if not several cheats in every team, in ours we have very few our players are if anything too honest most of the time. What Elmo did was wrong, but what do you expect us to do sell him? I was stating that he has been terrific for this football club, the amount of starts he's had for us since he has been here tells the whole story.

If Lennon doesn't come , then it says a lot about City's Dressing Room. Three former team mates and an ex Captain to boot.
they cant be saying good things to him or showing him belief , to sway his decision our way .
if there something internally wrong with out dressing (and I don't mean the coathangers)

In fairness, anyone watching your limp display on Saturday would get cold feet about signing up
