Does this mean that Malky will not get the Norwich job?
Does this mean that Malky will not get the Norwich job?
there may well be a small premiership team that will give him a job, failing that a good championship club could do worse than him.
i'm sceptical about him though, the cheaper players that he bought were not his buys, so there is no guarantee he'll pull rabbits out of the hat at another club.
but he clearly backs his ability enough to resign, the man has ambition which is a good thing, most managers would moan and moan in the press to make the club sack them, kudos for him for taking the right route out.

What you have to remember that Mackay is basically a championship manager at best
How soon some forget.

Cardiff finished eight points clear of second-placed Hull City and sealed promotion with four matches to spare.
For his efforts in the 2012/13 campaign, Mackay was honoured with the Championship’s Manager of the Year award.
In the Premier League, Mackay guided Cardiff to impressive wins over Manchester City and Welsh rivals Swansea City.( Cardiff fans can now boast their club won the first ever Cardiff/Swansea Premier League game, thanks to Malky)
While in charge, Malky's team never entered the Premier League relegation zone. Oli's team never got out of it.
There are plenty of other plaudits out there but I think I've made my point.
Good luck to Malky where ever he decides to go.
