Seems to me a risk worth taking - if not with Deila then someone left of field who may bring something different from the usual suspects - and give him a year to see how things are shaping up. I dont think that with the lateness of the appointment and the probable changeover in some key players we can bank on europe this year - no matter who the manager is. So I think there is least a season, maybe more to try something.
Delia done and dusted. Or a bawhair off it. I like John Collins and think he would make a good assistant ? I wouldnt have thought he really saw himself in that kind of role though.
Collins faced the same problems at Hibs that Le Guen did at Rangers, he wanted change the whole culture and lifestyle of the players but they wanted to get pished and eat ****e.
Collins was right Scottish players don't look after themselves properly, but as a manager you can't fall out with your players like that. You need these guys to play for you and then over time you replace them and change their habits.
