Aye but then we have to go back to watching Scotland get pumped 5-0 by Wales in endless friendly matches.

Get MacKay or Laudrup or Garcia or Yakin or Lambert or any **** apart from Keane or Coyle. Pair of ****ing also-ran charlatan ****s.

Keane is a genius appointment, about ****ing time there was someone in there to let these **** ****s know what is expected of them.

No competition in Scotland so thats not an issue, luck of the draw whether he will achieve the boards ambitious dream of playing in the group stage.

He will pick up the baton from Lennon and revel in the role of getting it right up the huns without even trying.

What happened to getting a job on merit and no because of where your passport was issued? Celtic are the UKIP of football clubs just now.

Id be happy enough with Keane, good plastic Celtic man, better than some nobody.

Id prefer a foreigner who knows good young players from his country and likes to play good football but id rather Keane than Coyle, Mackay or Moyes.

It really doesnt matter who the manager is just now in my opinion, I could literally win the league as manager. The board are not interested in achieving anything in Europe so it becomes pretty much irrelevant. We are going to moan about being **** in Europe no matter who the manager is.

No manager is going to win every single league and cup game, so we still have the odd shock result to moan about as well and blame the manager for not defying luck.

You're actually spot on with most of that, but regardless of my poor betting ability, I'd like Laudrup because he at least will have them playing good football. The football under Lennon, even in the league against mince, was pretty rank, and in Europe it was the usual plucky arses-to-the-wall job. Granted that sometimes he got it right and sometimes we played really well and were unlucky (Milan away), but all in all i'd much rather we have a manager who will get the team playing well, so even if it is no progress in Europe, walk the league and suffer the odd shock result, i'd rather do it in style. And we won't if we employ Moyes, Coyle, Keane etc.

That's the pragmatic view and entirely sensible, still...**** Roy Keane.

Sick of the board listening to the *****loid fanny element that support us. Same ****s who said Strachan would be ****e were slobbering over Mowbray.

If Keane gets it I doubt he'll accept a low budget

I'm guessing Desmond has made some promises
