Lenny is hardly the modern "whizz kid" type, but in saying that perhaps a good choice to mentor Trollope this season.
The most pleasing thing about that press release from the club was the following announcement................
"Scott Young will henceforth take up the dual role of Academy Defence Coach and Club Ambassador. The Club would like to thank Scott for his role within the first-team coaching setup during the past eighteen months and is delighted that he will continue offering his experience to our younger players as part of the Club’s overarching structure."
As for Lenny, I suppose it has to be a good thing to have an experienced football man with some pedigree involved in the club; something that's been missing for a long time.

Agree that even if not heavily involved in day to day coaching and tactics, he's a genuine football man. Some experience that has been sadly missing in recent years. Let him guide the board and keep them out of Trollope and Rowberry's way. Can't see the squad getting into the same position as with Malky and Ole with Lennie keeping an eye on things.
