I'm sure you used to be pro-Pearson when he was here. I know it's trendy now to say how boring he was, and how square his head is, etc etc. But if you thought he did a good job when he was here, at least be consistent now. If you were anti-NP all the way, then I am sorry. Though I'm certain you've changed your tune entirely.

No With money you buy players and players score goals Saying its all because of the money is a pretty poor excuse Its been proven in the past you dont need money to be successful in this divison. Take Reading for example, they got 4M for Matt Mills and 6M for Shane Long and did really spend money so that proves you dont need money to do well. Us and West Ham spent about the same and neither have ran away with anything, Blackpool got promoted the other year with spending nothing
i agree. however, if we had nugent or the equivalent salary. and possibly one or two others on the kind of salaries leicester and possibly reading pay, then we would be in southamptons position now. its not about tranfer fees. its about salaries
how does anyone really know who pays the most in salaries. transfer fees fair enough it is alt more public but salaries wise i think bar ourselves and west ham paying the most and Danny and millwall possibly paying the least i would say everyone else pays about the same surely.
