Thats how Sven set us up. People joined for Sven and money

Nigel has brought people in who want to play football and play for the club

Yes but like us this season there wont be much money to spend. NP has already said in the press that with the new financial fair play rules due to start from 2013/14 his player dealings will have to be much smarter than Svens. Wheelin N dealin springs to mind.

We can cheat he financial fairplay system the same way Man City do.

The owners own King Power aswell.

They put X amount of million through the books from King Power and say its sponsorship from the stadium or the shirt. That way it goes through as income and we can spend it and still be in the fairplay rules, when basically we have paid ourselves

Man City paid themselves 300M for stadium sponsorship so that they dont break the fairplay guild lines

And he'd need to sell them early in the window to get the loss accounted for early. If he sells them in August there's huge balance sheet losses (because I don't see them recoupping their money on many of them) in the accounts for next year.

The one that's going to be under investigation as soon as the financial documents relating to it are submitted?

UEFA are convinced they've got ways to stop teams doing that though. I have no idea how but they seem pretty sure no one will be getting around it.

    That doesn't surprise me.

Rule one of law making, leave no loop-hopes.

Rule two of law making, close loop-holes as soon as they appear.

Rule three of law making, charge a fortune(actually, that's probably rule one).

They'll only find another way round it anyway like investing or buying a non league club and spending millions on loan fees for academy players or something if the rules don't affect non league. There'll be plenty more ways to get money in anyway

Dont be too sure on that one. Man City are being investigated and that deal could be given the thumbs down. As it ruddy well should be. Everyone knows what they are playing at. FFP has to work properly or not at all.

Again very true. Matt Mills for one is gonna be a massive loss maker. Who would pay 2million for him now nevermind the 5.5m Lesta did ? Crazy deal that one as we all told them it was last summer.

Its very very easy. Man City's owners are kidding themselves if they think they shall get away with that one.

If you owned a business and say Invested £100,000 into it Does that make your business better off ? Yes it does but it also makes you personally worse off. All Man City owners are doing is moving money there own money about.

The whole idea behind FFP, is that all income to the club MUST be from outside sources and not the owners personal bank account. The day Man City announced this fancyful 300m deal everyone saw right through it for what it was.

O / T. It could be worse. Just read about a team in the Torbay sunday league. Nova 2010 FC lost 58-0, yes 58-0 to Wheel Power FC. Ok, it was a park match but come on, 58-0. It appears that Nova only had 5 players that turned up for the game but rounded up 4 others. One of the 9 was 60 years old. Jeeez, but A record british defeat it appears.
