Old flat top well and truly got one over Stevie mcbruce today, they exploited our 3-5-2 completely, having runners through central midfield to busy our midfield then knocking the ball down to the corners for their wide strikers to run onto in acres of space, it was evident from 5 minutes we had to pull our wingers back to a flat 5 or change to a back 4, that's where it mainly went wrong. Our players had a bit of a shocker though and despite his goal Simpson was woeful, a lot of our attacks broke down when the ball got to him and he consistently gave the ball away with weak passes which in fairness wouldn't have been helped by the utterly sodden pitch. Still we played poorly and came within an injury time goal line block from getting something away against a good Leicester side so the future can't be looking too bad. Also proschwitz looked great in the warm up and a lot better than he has before when he came on, I'm looking forward to seeing more of him and hope he features for more than 10 minutes against posh. He won all his aerial challenges and can't half finish accurately with viscous power shots if the shooting practice is anything to go off.
I did tell you At the end of the day you have made a cracking start to the season. Today you just wasnt at the races but thats football. Charles
Fair assessment Bob ... think you'll do well this year although this league is still so much of a nut house that there is no telling who will beat who week in week out ... unless you're Posh or Ipswich currently ..
Actually we are 12th out of 24, according to one bright spark on here last season when we were 12th he pointed out that theoretically that was bottom half you ****ing sore loser plank.
We've beaten yourselves, Brighton and Bolton who I would all consider promotion contenders. We may have lost to Leicester and Blackburn but we've beaten some decent sides already this season.
However you figured that out, that would make 11 teams the top half and 13 the bottom half, you single cellars cretin. I'd even go as far to say the little sperms floating round in my nutsack have a higher IQ than you. And sore loser? Correct me if I'm wrong but, wasn't it us who just beat you on your own patch? Yeah that's right. Surely that would make you the sore loser? Now **** off you brain damaged bottle digger and stop making yourself look more of a clueless prick. Every time you come on here you come out with such utter bullshit I'd be surprised if you were out of primary school yet. Get a life
Leeds are not promotion contenders this season, not as things stand. The takeover never materialised before the transfer window closed and it is probably the worst Leeds squad in 5 seasons or more. I admit I am a little surprised at Bolton being in the bottom half and Leicester you just never know what team is going to turn up. I expected Leeds to lose to Hull and I said on the day the better team won, if that makes me a sore loser in your book what chance does anyone stand trying to debate with you I just had a look through your profile and previous posts, I got bored on page 7 so I will ask a question? What do you contribute, your posts consist of 4 -5 words of drivel, have you ever managed to string a sentence together?
I agree it's probably one of your poorest squads for a while, but in a league where anyone can beat anyone Leeds have a chance of been up there. Suprised at Bolton too, they seem to be suffering a hangover from relegation. If Leicester can improve their away form they'll be challenging for the top 6 on the evidence of today.
I think you'll find most City fans have accepted that Leicester were the better side today and deserved to win. Not seen any sour grapes from us.
