Nigel Pearson has confirmed Paul Konchesky trained today and Nathan Delfouneso has a chance of being fit for Cardiff on Saturday

Glad you've found something to cheer you up PF. I was worried about you having so much negativity and bitterness. Have you tried counselling? <ok>

Please don't let me regret starting a thread with the Cardiff fans.

Southampton can't be the only decent fans in the league?

Well Pull Your Fox Off, I have visited Leicester so don't think you have anything to shout about - if that is where you live.

Bridgend - within 15 miles of Wales' capital city - a top 5 retail and night out destination in the UK - within 6 miles of a beautiful stretch of coastline with clean beaches and plentiful wildlife - close to the Vale of Glamorgan, beautiful coutryside, villages and pubs.

AK - no probs with the thread as it is just banter.

Southampton fans - mostly good but some total racist, bigotted jerks who were an embarrassment to the good ones.

Well then lets have a good 'banter' thread then.

But I don't define 'you're all bitter' and the like as banter. Of course we're bitter, we were let down by two poor decisions.

Right now can we focus on the game on saturday? It's a big game for both of us. I'll say 2-0 Leicester.

It appears the main attraction of Brigend is the ability to visit other places...Anyway im only teasing ya - i worked in Brizzy for 2 years and had a number of friends from Bridgend and most had positive opinions. However most were very scournful of merthyr tydfil...although i never visisted it myself.

I love Wales...having spent many holidays walking there!

I thought that was Patrick McGoohan.

You should be just fine if you stop Whitts playing then? <ok>

Makes me wonder just how Whitts and the ten other cripples he plays with have got us 11 points ahead of you lot so far this season - must be some sort of miracle.

I predict 1-1 with the goals coming early in both halves and the last 15 min being a boring kickabout because we'd both be satisfied with a draw.

Think it is going to be a good game, with both teams needing to go all out for a win! a draw is no good to us now, imo its a must win game for us.
With Watford next Tuesday it should be 6 much needed points for us! Just hope we have got a good ref.

Whittingham has never impressed me when i've seen him.

He can score good goals but he's just a better Gallagher IMO.

They have a lot of players that can hurt us but I think Whittingham will be dealt with my Peltier if he's on the wing or Drinkwater if he's in the middle.

whitts has been a centre mid all of this season, it will probably be

    marshall
    mcnaughton turner hudson taylor
    cowie gunnarsson whitts conway
    mason
    miller

thats presuming theres no injuries, i know that hudson missed last game, we need him back <ok>

I really rate Gunnarsson. Despite him being ex-Cov, aswell as Turner.

    We'll probably be something along the lines of;

    Schmeichel
    Peltier Mills St Ledger Koncheskey
    Marshall Drinkwater Wellens Dyer
    Nugent Beckford

We would have been 4-3-3 with Danns in for Dyer but he's suspended.

Drinkwater - we rejected him - he will be chasing Whitts shadow all afternoon.

No problem Foxey - Merthyr Tydfil - the land where men are men and sheep are frightened. Like Dodge City on a good Saturday night - like Mogadishu on a bad one.

Leicester has got a few nice Carp lakes <cheers>
Can see a very tight game, hoping we can at least get a point.

He would need to have. He may have been unfit and coming back from injury when he was with us, but he wouldn't get near a start right now with our midfield.

If he's the best you can offer against Whitts, Gunnarsson, Cowie, Conway and probably Mason, you've got a problem.

its with good reason though m8, he was distinctly average for us last season, i wasnt sad to see him go, comparing whitts to him when he was here and they are a class apart, you would have thought CM is the most important position on the pitch, i like the rest of your team, pace and quality up front, good keeper, we had him on loan a few years ago, i think you could improve that area, in the same way we are clearly lacking in wide players and attackers <ok>

Drinks played for Barnsley against us earlier in the season. We won 5 - 3 and he got subbed. Need I say anymore?
