Well that's two teams that can't catch us , and it won't be long till Sunderland and Norwich can't either . I think this result will result in us taking a bit of the pressure off and am expecting some good stuff our last four , difficult games . 18th Newcastle 19th Norwich 20 th Villa When the window closed , this is the last place I thought Newcastle would be with 3 remaining . I don't feel half as bad about some of our wasted money looking at Newcastle ... Happy days .
I think Newcastle and Norwich will finish at 35 points . All Sunderland have to do IMO , is get to 35 points with their 5 games remaining as they sit on 30 ... I think Sunderland will get to 35 points ( all 3 of them might get exactly 35 points but Sunderlands goals for and against is the key to their survival .
You may be right Roof, but as of right now there is no denying that Toon are the most improved side. I did say that Benitez would be targeting our game as the start of the fightback and it's proved to be the case. Their last game is Spurs away so they have to be safe by then I think to stand any chance.
There is no doubt that Newcastle are starting to play better. However I think they have left it too late. Big Sam will get Sunderland over the line.
Sunderland and Newcastle both at 30 points with Sunderland with 5 remaining games and a better plus minus and Newcastle with 3 games remaining ..... Just doesn't add up well for Newcastle . Norwich have 31 points with 4 remaining but their first 2 are against Arsenal and Man U . How Newcastle got from a very successful transfer window , to where they are now is unimaginable IMO . I guess to much change in a team , regardless of the money spent , doesn't make the grade .
