In fairness, I cannot actually think of one player who I think has been outstanding the whole year. Even in 2005 there were a few.

Hard to say now but I can see Austin being the man who gets the goals so probably him.

I’d go for JWP. Always gives 100% and has been the biggest improver in a squad of damp squibs.

 

Yep, you're right but for not doing much but plenty of application, Pied would get my vote. I'm sure he came here with high expectations but 2 years on, pretty dismal.

Bit weird people turning on Lemina.

Yes he’s a bit glitz and glamour. Yes he’s probably not the gritty type you turn to first in a relegation scraps. Yes he’s been inconsistent.

But - it’s his first season in England, and we tend to give other people leeway there.
He’s had more good games than bad games - and his good games are very good (just as his bad games are very bad).
He’s one of the few that will have good resale value.

He seems to have been cast as the next one on the fan hitlist. I think that’s somewhat unfair.

 

Agreed. When he’s on it he’s a lovely player to watch. If we stay up he’ll be good for us next year.

 

I am in poll position to win my fantasy league and £1000 prize. The main threat to me has Vardy as captain for this week. Based on how this season has gone he will score 5 tonight to **** me over royally.

 

Lemina: I've never been able to resist what used to be called a luxury player. Or liability, depending on your point of view. Interesting press conference yesterday with MH saying he has recognised who is up for the fight and who isn't, then mentioning Lemina's bad back and Boufal being ill. Think we might know who is not up for it now.

Nervous about Leicester (when will I ever learn!), particularly as I can't be there. What I don't need though is colleague who has zero interest in sport barging into my office first thing just to tell me there's a game on, that they said on the radio that we might not go down, but I thought we were sunk etc etc. OK rant over - so I'm not good in the mornings!
