Cedric is marking Mahrez. When Fuchs pushes up, that side is overloaded. Cedric is not going to get to Fuchs in time, plus if he just charged like a mad man, Fuchs just passes it to Mahrez. All Cedric can do is kind of cover an area, until VVD arrives to give him help. But of course that pulls VVD out of the middle, so that's when Fuchs launches the cross.

That goal was pretty much all on Bertrand. First he blew a relatively simply clearance. Then he didn't get back to his position. He was still on the wrong side of Fonte, when that cross was launched, thus leaving Clasie 1v1 on Morgan. Fuchs also had Vardy open. Because Bertrand was on the wrong side of the pitch, covering no one.

Was it Newcastle last season when Shane Long got clotheslined and didn't get a penalty?

Agree with a comment earlier on the handballs. A good team shouldn't be relying on ref decisions to win games. Yes a pen and a sending off would do very nicely, but the game was 0-0 with plenty of minutes still to play and chances to perform and go on and win.

We did that against Stoke & Liverpool, but fell short Sunday

A lot of wasted energy and words on this thread. The game has been and gone and you can say and argue all you like nothing is going to change. Post match discussion is a waste of time as it never ever changes anything.

Fair enough, that's how you saw it, I saw it differently so I'll leave it at that.

Haven't we only had one pen awarded against us all year, as well? And that in a situation where the match was effectively over...don't think that we have been hard done by on that score.

I'm happy to give it a go. I'm sure i did one last year and we didn't lose :)

Me positive? Well to quote Mark Twain:
“I've had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened.”

Technically, we are... going out. At least in so far as you can go out with someone you've never met. But... it's nice to be in a relationship where the l word is regularly used. I had a gf before from America. I went to visit her and she decided she had no interest in me. It was unpleasant. My head is thinking this is stupid and I'm just repeating my the mistakes of the past, my heart ignores my head though.

****, if we bring in video evidence to 'prove' things, we may as well close the forum. Still, it's been fun. Met some nice people.

Hmm, you do realise Mark Twain is being positive in hindsight there. The trick is not to over worry about things at all, but keep them in their proper perspective. :)

But go on, give it your super-duper ultra positive best. Accentuate the positive and footballs to the rest, if there is any stuff other than positive [frankly, I can't see any so it should be easy for you]. When you put it up a mod will notice it and if he can remember how to do it, will sticky it for you.

    Cheers

    TSS.

Two observations. Anyone who says either penalty shout was obviously without merit might like to consider the fact that the pundits disagree on which might have been given.
Secondly, the move which led to their goal started originally from an unnecessary foul/free kick, not far from the centre line by Victor. Admittedly there's a bit of play after but that's where it started.

I'm calm. I take the view that you only become a victim if you let yourself. So no point in dwelling on it. Doesn't mean that I wouldn't beat them around a bit with a stick if I had the chance:emoticon-0130-devil

At the end of the day, its far more important to get the handball law sorted in our favour.

There was some sort of table posted on Twitter which said that we are tied 16th in the dodgy decision league, 5 important decisions have gone our way, eleven have gone against, so we are due a few to go our way! Assuming everything levels up in the long run.

I somehow doubt its accuracy, but food for thought.
