We rolled over against Spurs, Chelsea, and Brentford off the top of my head. There are literally no positives, and the players need to admit that.
I was shocked that we put in such a bad performance. There will be a massive clear out in the summer. We will struggle in the Championship next season. I can see a relegation battle.
Glad I missed this one but went to my local team, Hednesford Town who won their play off final to get promoted to the Northern Premier League. These Saints players are a disgrace to the badge, hopefully the fans will let them know at the next home game
Fans absolute quality. In services on way back. The Matty Fernandes song went on literally without pause from the moment he was substituted to the final whistle. Now that’s commitment
Literally came on now to ask what minute he went off. Like you said it literally went on right until the end. Class. Turned a terrible away day into a half decent one.
57th minute. I know people may take with a pinch of salt but it was genuinely 33+4 minutes of non stop singing that song
Libs, what was the fan reaction to the game in general like? General apathy, or is there a chance we might actually get a bit lively next home game? A chance to let the team and board know they're massive ****s? I only ask as I've got the bed sheet and I'm nipping to hobbycraft for some acrylic pint. In a completely unrelated matter, is Ankersen spelt with an E or an O?
Rusk pissed off by the Fernandes chanting by the sounds of it, everyone at the club seems to be in an alternate Universe.
Glad we went to a friends barbecue this afternoon instead, burgers, sausages potato salad etc ..,,,,.,much better fun.
Yeah it literally didn't stop from the minute the substitution was made. Apparently there was still a football match going on but I don't remember anything about it
Everyone was ****ing fuming towards end of first half and at HT. Lots of booing and chants of not fit to wear the shirt etc. Everyone was livid with the Fernandes sub but nobody really paid much attention to anything on the pitch afterwards as we just serenaded Matty instead.
That was so bad, that I should be fuming. So many things to criticise. But instead, I'm going the focus on the two positives. The half an hour serenading of Fernandes was really quite something - two fingers up to Rusk, whilst showing full support for our only outfield player who deserves it this season - and I won my bet.
F me that was pathetic! We so deserve to get the record of being the worst team in Premier League history. I honestly hope we stay on 11 points. Where's the fight and pride I used to see from our boys when we where facing relegation at the Dell?
