Blame your manager for not making a decent striker addition when it mattered. He messed up there you all know it bringing in bloody Maiga!! What the hell was he thinking
Didn't hear a peep from you boys. Easily the worst away support we've seen all season. As for your side. Onouha and Hughes were fairly comfortable throughout, but your fullbacks took one hell of a beating. Nugent looked isolated and we missed Vardy as much as you missed a striker with half a brain cell. Really though, you need to send Maiga back ASAP. He's worse than ****. I thought we were comfortable and we only really had ourselves to blame when you had chances (Maiga's "shot" from Krancjar's pullback for example). I'd have been really annoyed if we came away without 3 points, we were in control of the game but that's to be expected as the Champions elect versus a side with a few injuries to key players. Good luck in the playoffs but looking at the current 3rd-6th I can't see you winning them. It's looking like a Derby vs Wigan final.
You're joking aren't you? Some lovely well worked play and then a fabulous through ball from Drinky followed by a driven finish from a tight angle.
I was waiting for this fu*k-wit to arrive with his usual, one-sided, totally blinkered view of the game. You didn't disappoint Andy.
What did you make of this then Hoopster? Or is it not a "one-sided, totally blinkered view" because it's one you agree with? I just thought we were comfortable and neat today. We weren't at our free flowing best but like yourselves, we were missing some key players. We did more than enough for the three points...true you had chances (we had more but you did have some) but in the second half we tightened up and it was only a matter of time before we took the lead.
All I could hear on the Tv were the Rangers fans. Even the biased commentators were saying what a poor atmosphere it was. You only made some noise once you'd scored. I thought you're left back made some decent runs but I saw nothing to bother BAE apart from the move for the goal. Maiga's shot that you put in inverted commas was going in had it not struck Morgan's back. Probably only 3 of those who started today would start a play off semi. You weren't comfortable, you were distinctly average. If I got as much wrong about the game as you, I'd really try to stick clear of football forums.
King's mis hit volley from 6 yards. King off the line. Mahrez 1 on 1 after. Knockaert from 18 yards, when he nearly put it into the corner flag Had loads of room, was a sitter really. Mahrez chest control to volley that required a deflection to put it wide. Mahrez's cross that deflected onto the side netting. The goal. The penalty. That's just off the top of my head
How 'Arry sawr it: "I thought we played well. Leicester have done ever-so well. They’ve got lots of goals in them, whereas we’ve struggled to score this year. Only Charlie has got his goal tally this season. You need goals from all over the pitch and we’ve been short of them. But, again, I thought our general play today was excellent. We created good chances and I thought we were very unfortunate to come away on the wrong end of the result. I thought the goal could have been prevented. It was a poor one to give away – poor defending. Part of the first basics as a defender is not to let a player run in behind you. That wasn’t a good goal to give away – but we had some decent opportunities. We’ve got no complaints (Ekotto's red card). The challenge for his second booking was rash, and when you’re on a yellow card it’s not the sort of tackle you should dive into. Yossi is not looking too bad. He was just taken off as a precaution. He had a little bit of a groin strain, so we took him off. It was Niko Kranjcar’s first game back for a while and I thought he was excellent today. With 10 minutes to go, it was always going to be difficult after being reduced to 10 men. But the lads who came in didn’t do themselves any harm today.Hopefully we’ll have a number of players back for Monday – including Charlie Austin, Clint Hill and Joey Barton. Kevin Doyle should be available, as well. We just want to get ready for the play-offs now. We need one more result to ensure we’re in them. If that’s where we are (the play-offs), it’s going to be an exciting end to the season.”
