That's bollocks. My hatred of NP started when in his first interview he told us he was only here because Leicester didn't want him. My feelings towards NP had nothing to do with who appointed him, I doubt many of his biggest fans could say that. As for AP... please log in to view this image I struggle to see how more people don't feel the same way, that picture there signals a huge step back for Hull City and one that will take a while to recover from. It had nothing to do with him replacing Duffen, I wasn't bothered about Duffen leaving at the time. You don't know what you've got til it's gone as it were.
Come on Chazz that's just a ludicrous accusation. How in the name of Barmby would jeopardising results help his CV? He may not of wanted to be here, but while he was here he stilldid his job to the best of his ability and was highly professional about it.
That's my point. You admit your hatred began with Pearson's first interview and it didn't abate until the day he left. Whereas most of us guaged our opinions based on his progress or otherwise and at the end of the day he did improve the team. Your hatred is unaffected by events and it's the same for AP. I would say it is unanimous on here that everyone thinks Dowie was the wrong choice to replace Brown, but unlike you we are willing to give AP a second chance and he has proved worthy of it by preventing the financial meltdown that seemed almost inevitable and by bringing in the Allams. Credit where credit is due and deep down you know that AP deserves credit.
We were already a side doomed to relegation when Dowie arrived, sacking Brown when we did was strange but i see no reason why anyone should bear a grudge with AP over that when you take into account all the good things he's done for the club over the last 10 years. He's only human like the rest of us and he has made me mistakes, but there's not many people in the club's history who have doen as much for the club as AP.
Show some respect OLM, he's the last player to score a top flight winning goal for us away from home.
I did have a great night out in Fulham after that goal, but outside of that one game, he was utter ****e(even in that game he was ****e other than his goal).
Lesta with a 3 - 0 win thanks to typical Gardner defending(leaving his man"beckford" unmarked) and 2 hit and hope strikes from gallagher. Palace could have had 3 themselves. Nice to know that its boring at the King Prawn Stadium now. lol.
