Must admit I totally forgot about Dyer. Which is strange because I bet he's the first name on the teamsheet for Nige. He's playing brilliantly.
The only time we will play that is when Knockaert isnt available though. Attacking wise he is the man that can pull a rabbit out the hat at any point
Was just about to say that you can't leave Knockaert out of the team, although I don't necessarily think he'll start on Saturday. Pearson has, quite rightly, on the whole stuck with winning sides so far this season- James' continued absence is a good example of this, although he really should start against Millwall. I haven't seen Hammond play much yet so can't speculate on his playing ahead of James against Ipswich but it does seem surprising. We have 3 pretty good strikers right now; it seems a shame that we can't necessarily utilise them all. I'm not suggesting that we do, as 2 would be wasted out wide- I think only Vardy of the 3 can really play wide in a 3, and it would mean sacrificing Dyer and/or Knockaert. Quite an encouraging headache for this weekend, who'd have thought it at the start of the season?
Regardless of what people thoughts are on Nugent we are in a very nice position having 3 strikers all capable of doing a job for the team. Jamie Vardy has been brilliant for us this season and in recent weeks its seems like Chris Wood is starting to get back to his normal self. What ever you say about Nugent he has 10 goals and does a job for the team. He just needs to continue as he can have no more excuses if he doesnt hit 20 goals this season He just needs 10 more goals in 30+ games. Easily achievable Vardy, Wood and Nugent should be hitting around 45-50 goals this season
