Do you think Burnley will keep this pace going til May ??? As said, 2nd would do me... behind QPR (it´s my opinion that QPR will win it)
I think Burnley have made too big of a gap between the three of us and 7th that even a Leicester 2013 February to May style **** up couldn't ruin. Personally think 2nd is up for grabs, think 1st has QPRs name on it.
Burnley, Leicester and QPR have pretty much ran away with the league. 4th place is Blackpool who are 7 points behind and 7th place is Derby who are 10 points behind
Matty James changed the game by the sounds of things Alot of credit to Nigel for the turnaround and great response from David Nugent
@GaryLineker 53s Great win for @OfficialFOXES coming from behind, not for the first time this season. #spirit
I think he's kept his shirt with that second half performance. Would have been dropped if his first half performance carried on into his second.
I think King and Knockaert will find themselves on the bench next week. Today could be the turnaround in Nugents confidence in front of goal 10 goals isnt a bad return from Nuge
Knockaert should be in the side. Replace Hammond with him. King is unlucky. It was between him and DD to blink first.
With it being Millwall I would stick with Hammond to start and bring Knockaert on as an impact sub to cut them open in the 2nd half Its always going to be a scrappy physical game Nigel Pearson said he needed to change something at half time and Moore and King was the one he choose because of they was away on international duty. Jamie Vardy had burnout after suffering with a cold and running himself into the ground as per usual
One thing is for certain. No chance in hell would we have come back and won that game last season. Last season once we went behind we didnt know how to get back into the game. Team spirit plays a massive role and Nigel has to take alot of credit for this. Keeping the manager and the players together after our bad spell last season created this. As I have said along. Back Nigel Pearson and he will get us promoted
When informed of Nugent’s incredible record, McCarthy quipped: “I’m ******* delighted for him!” Then, after a long pause, added: “Let’s hope they get promoted so he can p*** off out of my sight! That would be great that. He’s a good player, he’s a top-class striker in this league.”
