Fair point. I sit near enough to the camera that showed the decision and I instantly clapped Danns for winning the ball and couldn't believe it when he was carded. So I can't say that the Ref saw the perfect angle because I don't know. But what I do know is that your players were disgusting in surrounding the referee, pressuring him into a decision. I honestly think he would have given a yellow had Rosenior kept his beak out of it.
You could argue that Mckenna gets nowhere near the ball either in that picture. Not sure why he wasn't disciplined.
Message to Nigel - 3 points is 3 points but some players really need a wake up ... time to drop Pugh, Pugh, Barney, McGrew .. but Marshall, Dyer (and Bob) have proved their worth...., time for some celebratory trifle
McKenna gets nowhere near the ball because Danns has gone over the ball and caught the player. It was a clear red and he deserved to go. But before Hull fans get on their high horse at least McKenna got up and walked away. When you player did that to ours he ended up with a broken leg Danns went for the ball but footballers know what happens if they go in 2 footed and if they get sent off its their own bloody fault and i have no sympathy for them.
In light of that picture that's just been posted appearing to suggest that McKenna had one leg pulled back, whilst Danns was two footed I'm going to say that McKenna avoided any punishment despite not making it to the ball first because his challenge wasn't seen as a lunge where he was out of control. If they'd both gone in the same way McKenna did then it would probably have just been a freekick to you. (assuming Danns had still been first to the ball). I do want to see a replay before I commit to that explanation though because I've seen a couple of times this season where I've thought McKenna should have been booked and he's got away with it. (Bad timing rather than malice)

I can tell that's going to end up in one of Erik's pictures. Watching the video, if Danns hadn't gone in two footed I reckon McKenna would have walked. From the pic it looked like he was sliding in, but on the vid you can see he gets off the ground. He must've only got away with that because the two feet leading from Danns is such a clear red the ref's seen it coming and then been in his mind focussing on it and not really seen McKenna's challenge properly. If that's not how it happened then **** knows what the referee was thinking.
I think whoever came out with the ball was going to be red carded. Both went in fully committed. I don't think you'd have complained if it'd just been a handshake and both stayed on the pitch.
Danns went in 2 footed and McKenna didnt 2 footed tackles are red cards. If Danns went in 1 footed then it would of been a fair tackle but you cant tackle 2 footed. The players, managers, fans, everybody knows this. Danns cant have any complaints he deserved to go. If McKenna went in 2 footed and Danns didnt then we would of been baying for blood
I don't buy into this 2 footed tackle = red card myth. At the end of the day if your foot comes up off the floor at a players shin height then you're in trouble. You can hit someone a lot harder with one foot than you can with two, sounds weird, but if you play the game then you'll know. But lunging in two footed looks worse, i'll grant you.
There is more risk of serious injury when people dive in 2 footed because all of their body weight is going into the tackle and the impact area is going to be bigger and harder then a 1 footed tackle
Well done on the win, **** game with us doing our usual tippy tappy stuff without threatening at all. It's ****e coming to your place, no beer, no concourse screens, as an away day it's on a par with Pompey or Scunny, anything over £15 a ticket is robbery.
We have beer, we have concourse screens aswell. You threaten abit but once you got within the penalty box the end product was seriously lacking. No doubt you missed Koren. Also off topic but remember the clocks go forward tonight
Stringer to Nigel " Hull fans hostile towards you." Nigel- "it was the same when I was manager there"
Not sure how it was a **** game. 3 good goals and a red card. No concourse screens in the away bit? Surprised at that. We have ****ing millions in the east stand and they're never on Also surprised at how quiet 2500 of you can be.
I thought that, at the start and when Fryatt scored they was load but i think with Dyer and Marshall both scoring in quick succession is shell shocked them. They was pretty quiet from then on.
