It's not about being the 'big man' to journalists. He's representing your club and that attitude makes him look a right ****. If that gets out into the national media (it will), there'll be a fair few of your fans blushing at this. It's not the first time his attitude has got him attention and it's just cringeworthy. Imagine he'd spoken to you like that, would you feel belittled or annoyed by his comments? His job is to answer the questions the journalists ask him, not make total ****ers out of them for his own amusement. Bruce isn't a yes man, he just knows how to represent his club and the people who pay his wages. Bruce is in charge of the team, he probably has his own thoughts on the subject but opts not to make a big deal out of it because it could be detrimental to the team and the image of the club. How on earth you see that as a bad thing is beyond me. If Steve Bruce ever acted like that in an interview or a press conference I'd be ****ing ashamed of him.
Have you not seen the video? You know, the thing we're all talking about? No? Is your head in the sand? Are you agile enough to get your head in the sand? Yes? No? I am. You're not. Are you Ian Baker in disguise?
Thing is, fans and pundits alike have been praising their attacking style of play. Gary Lineker (obviously) and Robbie Savage are constantly praising them.
What video? What have I missed? I thought we were talking about Nigel setting the benchmark for levels of ****ism among the Leicester 'tards. Fair play to you, you're having a good go at reaching the required standards.
If he spoke to a member of the press like that? Then stormed out? Er yeah, yeah I would. Normal people don't act like that towards other people. There are 92 managers in the football league, I can think of only 2 others that would act like that and they're both considered huge ****ers.
Eh? We've been bottom, of course I expected hellish criticism. What did I say that suggested otherwise? We're not struggling with attention at all. No idea where you're getting that from. I'm also unsure as to why you think that Nige doesn't want the press to 'bait' him. It deflects criticism onto him rather than the players. Nige and the reporter were laughing throughout, it's not like he's given him an earful. But don't worry. Keep telling us that he's "embarrassing" and that we should somehow care about what anyone of our club should think of us. It's a points competition, not a popularity contest. I couldn't care less what the media think, as long as they're not constantly digging into our team like they were earlier in the season.
This is what I mean. This bizarre victim complex you've got going on. No-one's out to get you. You've been **** nearly all of this season, people are going to notice, talk, report and write about it. I find Pearson quite funny, he's certainly more entertaining than when he was here. But yes, I'd be a little embarrassed if he was our manager still. You claim Pearson deflects criticism onto himself, and then claim the media have been constantly digging into your team. So it's not really working is it? It's just making him look a bellend.
So, just so we are clear, you think that exactly what he did is perfectly reasonable? It's ok to act like a **** if what, you're pushed to it because some guy was being a bit cheeky? And even if he was being serious, so what? It didn't warrant that Danny la Rue style storm off, you could hear the discontent among the journalists as he was leaving. It didn't look good, it wasn't good and it can't be justified.
It's not as if he told him he was a prick or to **** off & die or even tried to get him in a half nelson. Just told him he was stupid, silly & talking crap. A mild effort from the classless Mr Charisma. He has no point & he's far from popular & that's why he's a ****.
Ffs they just got ****ed over. 2 injurys goal diff ****ed. Is anyone talking about that? No it's all Nige. Great management in a relegation scrap. No one gives a **** about the Chelsea score. It's all lesta. Great manager.
I don't know. This will vary depending on results to come. There's seven matches being played between the bottom eight. I'm just pointing out that, despite usually a draw being a good result for us if teams below and around us play each other, we are at the stage of the season when it may be possible for three teams to get cut off from the teams above.
The relegation betting didn't change after last nights match so the bookies must have had it as a certain Chelsea win all along.
