Even if true, it would explain why he might say no, but not why Chelsea wouldn't want him. Are they only interested in Managers from "smaller" teams?

I think it's pretty obvious why Wenger doesn't appear on anyones short-list, but the spuds must be nervous, United & Chelsea will be looking for a new manager and Poochy has proven he can cut it in the prem and that he'll dump his team for a bigger team in a shot. Be interesting to see how much compensation Levy will demand

The reason Whinger doesn't appear on anyone's short list is that he's a stubborn has been, like LVG.

I doubt that Pochettino would leave so quickly. If I'm wrong, you can bet Levy will screw his suitor to the floor, compensation wise!

well, I suppose that's the way the spuds see it, but the truth is no one would try to pry Wenger from Arsenal for the same reason thy never tried to pry Ferguson from Man Utd, or Clough from Forest, Shankley from Liverpool, etc. the only thing that would is managing their countries, and I'm not even sure then. They built dynasty's

What? Arsenal are the side directly above us in the table and we've got 50% more points than Chelsea.
One we're obviously going to be concerned with, while the other we're actually not, at the moment.

One more loss and you'll all be calling for his head, again. Those that aren't already, of course.
It's the standard Arsenal divide. The Loyalists and the Revolutionaries. The Claudes and the Tys.

Both have been above you in the table for pretty much the entirety of the EPL. have you ever finished above them in it's history?

Could say the same about you and us, to be honest.
At least we've got close repeatedly with Arsenal. You've finished in a lower position in a lower division to us.

We finished above Chelsea as recently as the 11-12 season. It's been a lot longer with Arsenal, unfortunately.
What that's got to do with the current season, which is what we're talking about, I've no idea. I doubt you do, either.

  14. Big Ern cannot bear the idea that the mighty Spurs is on the verge of something really big, perhaps even of winning the title.

Big Ern believes that his presence on this site will have to end, should we win the league.

Big Ern has some very serious issues.

Piskie is a Ty, has the odd criticism of Wenger, but that is peer pressure only. A87 gets angry if you are too nice about Wenger.

There should be some sort of poll on the Arsenal board, I think.
Which Arsenal Fan TV pillock... er, I mean vocal supporter are you?
Nobody would want to be Moh, though. I don't think that he does himself.

  17. That's an excellent idea! Someone should start such a poll. I think it would go down well with posters, generally.

I'd make the post, if I could.

  19. Very true, PNP.

But that is to the great detriment of the Gooners' board.
