Why would they give a gift to a player forcing his way out the club? He showed LcFC no respect whatsoever so he shouldn't have got anything. Will miss him as a player (unless Mendy can step up) but not a likeable bloke at all

He made it clear for months he wanted our regardless. Obviously no appreciation for plucking him fr obscurity so him and Chelsea seem right for each other. And I still can't comprehend why you would expect a gift of that nature to be given to someone who has ignored the pleas of his manager and team mates to stay by bailing out at the first chance. He didn't win the league on his own
I guess it comes down to individual mentality. I see it as being bitter about a player moving on to bigger and better things (can't ****ing stand Chelsea btw) but I do understand what you're saying too.
Bigger , yes but not better this season with only domestic footie to play.... Could have stayed for another season , played CL football and then moved on to possibly bigger and better than Chelsea..... Seems Vardy and Chilwell saw sense, especially the latter.... Though was a bit surprised as Liverpool 's scouting seems to be based in Southampton atm ..... a habit that seems to have now spread to the toffees !
